Maybe in the past yes, but in the present i don't think kdramas have higher quality. Historical cdramas are very well produced, even better than kdramas. I think thay maybe modern kdrama (especially mistery, policial) are better than cdramas, but recently there was some modern cdramas really good

Maybe is bc in the books the second couple isn't important, in the novels we don't see them a lot

Kdramas normally has higher ratings than kdramas. You can see that none of the other airing cdramas has ratings over 8.
But about Persuit of Jade, its really good. The photographie is incredible and the plot makes a lot of sense. You really should try and judge it by yourself

He has so many things to deal (the vegeance is his top priority that his not sure if he can really compromise to saty with her.

Be strong! I started as soon as it was released, loved it so much that started reading the novel. Now I can't do anything else because all me free times if going to finishing the novel and keeping up with the TV show hahahha

It's not only about they being real or not, it's more about animal violence. I'm vegan, so I'm a bit sensible about it... But I really think that's good that the drama isn't using real animals

Yes!! I think it has one of the best starts I have seen in asian dramas in a long time. FL is perfect, strong and funny. ML is also good. And I really liked how so much of the story is outside the palace, I was already tired of period dramas with focus on court intrigues.
