The Crown Prince could hear ghost, so he funded out that the course of the Pond Ghost wasn't real. The princes (brother's of the king) that died 30 years before where poisoned by the king's mother so the king could get to the throne and she used the course as a cover for her crimes.
When the Crown Prince founded out truth, he decide to do the same so he could also get to the throne. So he poisoned his two older brothers in order to become the Crown Prince and used the curse as a cover for the crimes. But the King discovered the truth and poisoned the Crown Prince as a punishment for have killed the other Princes (I think the king felt a bit of remorse for the death of his brothers). The Crown Prince felt wronged and decided that with his death he would become the real Pond Ghost and make the curse real
Not really, even a brainless person can understand it because it's not very complex. In episode 2 anyone can pretty much figured out what is going to happen

The older brother died of natural causes at the same time the Queen killed the Favorite Court Lady. So the king's mon used the rumors about the the royal bloodline being cursed by the Pond's Ghost as a cover to kill the others princes with poison. As the Queen also had a guilty mind for killing the Court Lady, she involuntarily helped the king and the king's mother to cover the murders.
So, it wasn't the king who killed his brothers. It was his mother using the princess mom, but the King knew about it.
Not bad, but in relation to world building and tension, it fall short from Kingdom and Revenant. I was hoping for something more dark and scary, but there wasn't any scene really scary or with high tension

He doenst love her, he is obssessed with her. She prefered die than being with him... Also, she isnt her wife anymore, her soul got mixed with Shen Xi He soul, sho the actual Xi He is a new person. And Prince Lei only "let her go" after he tried to force her to marry him by threating her and her family and she still refused. Xi He preferred die than still married to Prince Xin and she refused Prince Lei even when he threated to destroy her and her family. If she wanted, she could get rid of Crown Prince. But the thruth is that she really doesn't want to. I don't like this part of the story, prefered it had take another way... But Prince Xin is a obssessed person, every one can see it. And I like Prince Lei, but love and relationships aren't about how deserves more someone

I kind of liked but I have a huge problem with the fact they stayed almost 10 years whithout any contact. It may works in storyies setted in 90s or before, but in 2010 we already had Facebook and other Social Medias. Why he never tried to enter in contact with her before? Its almost impossible he didn't knew about the accident....

About the FL and ML relationship: the first mistake she made, he was really rude, telling her he was wrong about her. That's not the right way to treat someone in your team. ML needs training about leadershirp.

My take is that he could be evil being extremely exigent and not friendly. He didn't need to be a abusive boss. And I don't think kdramas should normalize abusive behavior because after people will be like "ah.. that's not harassment, that's just how work is"

It isn`t really better, is it? He was really nice and patient with FL, but a boss who is only nice with the employees he likes isn't a very good leader. A good leader doesn't care only about the goal, he also ensures that he is creating a nice environment. I don't hate ML, but I hope the plot doesn't ignore it... He should be held accountable and try to do better
