It's not only about they being real or not, it's more about animal violence. I'm vegan, so I'm a bit sensible about it... But I really think that's good that the drama isn't using real animals
Yes!! I think it has one of the best starts I have seen in asian dramas in a long time. FL is perfect, strong and funny. ML is also good. And I really liked how so much of the story is outside the palace, I was already tired of period dramas with focus on court intrigues.

I don't know if I agree that How Dare You was bettere written. I think the charachters in How Dare You are more interesting and easier to like.
At the begging I really liked Bai Lu's charachter but after some episodes she wasn't that charismatic. As for Wang Xing Yue's Xiao Huai Jin, he was so neutre, he didn't have a great impact, by the end of the drama we don't miss him in the episodes he has less screen time. And we don't have interisting secondary charachters too....

No, most of the cases doesn't have any relation with Peiyi quest for vegeance and the cases are very different of each other. The main theme ir more like even if you can find the truth it doens't mean you are going to have justice or hapinness.
I've some issues with the drama, but the cases where really well done. One of the best I've ever seen
Spoilers plz! From 29…onwards. Mastermind got his; how did leads reconcile? Did she apologize for a change?…
- Mastermind: The Crown Prince was the one behind Uncle Lou. He wanted to eliminet the Cui Clan (the right chancelour and the consort). He used Uncle Lou wish for revenge to manipulated him. FL realised it and used the crown princes plan to get ride of the Righ Chancelor but she saved the Consort. The Chancelor is killed by Peiyi but nothing happens to the Crown Prince.
- Rencociliation: ML finds out the FL is pretending to help Uncle Lou and the Crowns Prince so she can get her revenge and he helps her. They get togheter after she defeats the Chancelor but she never apologized....
- The culprit in last case: The Crown Prince trying to frame the Cui Clan. But all the blame falls on the Right Chancelor that is setenced to death.
It started really well but the least 5 episodes where kind of disappointing... I was okay with no romance, maybe is my concept of relationship but by the end the couple didn't even make much sense. i didn't fell any angsty or sufferinf, I was just bored and annoyed....
For me, the bert part was Consort Shu and Peiyi relationship <3
I hate Uncle Lou! Anybody that kills innocent people for revenge doesn't deserve succed in their revenge because they are not differnet from the villains.
Okay.... ML never ever asked FL to forget her revange. He stopping her killing the chanceler didn't mean she couldn't have her revange. If she had trust him, they could have tought in a better revange plan that wouldn't get FL killed.
As I see, what made ML upset is that FL still didn't trusted him and also that she didn't seems to thinking in having a life with him after the revange even tought she had promised him that they would have a new life toghther after the marriage.
FL also knows that she wasn't 100% correct, thats way this time is she the one going after ML. She is trying to take care of him bc she knows he wans't wrong.
I do understand Huaijin’s pov because if Peiyi had killed the right chancellor, she might’ve gotten her title…
She didn't spend 15 years with memories od the masacre, she didn't remembered it. She had nighmares and felt something was off about the case and also grived her parents death, but she didn't had any trauma of the massacre bc she didnt remebered it.
ML in the other had spent 15 years with the memories of thoses deaths and also with the weight of not have any power to really protec her (even tought he kept looking after her).
And also, she knows how is to live with the grief. How did she expected ML to keeping living if she had did for the revange? He would have spent all the rest of his life with the guilt for not have been able to protect and save her.
She knew he had dedicated 15 years of his life, she knew he had gonne against his father to help her, she knew that has forgive her for all the times she used and manipulated him, she knew he would give everything to make her happy. Durign all the drama, it was him forgiving her even if she not asked sorry and him asking for forgiviness even whe he wasnt completly wrong. He neeeever got made at her, why the is it all his fault to get made one time?
You understand she wasn't in her best condition, but you cant undertand he also wasn't? He almost saw the love of his life lose his life...
I do think he knows she likes him, but he tried to make her trust him and she still decided to dribing him way. He can't force her to stay by his side, he just accepted her decision and let her go.
