I think Earth can play better than Fluke. I cannot see any development in Fluke's playing from My Bromance up…
Maybe - but look at Tonnam's annoying character in Love in the Air, and then remember him as a doctor in Triage - a haircut and clothing can make a big difference. Put Earth in a stylish suit, get rid of the bowl haircut, and don't have him crying all the time. He probably isn't going to pull of an alpha male mafia boss, but he could be a villainous fashion mogul.
I agree he's better than Fluke - TBH, the latter not one of my favorites. He's adorable, but he doesn't have much range. It's easy to look like a good actor when all your scenes are with a talking fencepost.
Andy Wu's calves make me a little crazy. A lot crazy.
Anyway, I love this - while not super-original, it is distinctly... distinct. It's deeper than it appears, and I liked that Xun An gently suggested counseling and Bai Land didn't freak out and get pissed off.
I would like a little more time on the bartender couple, but I really enjoy the main couple. This and Choco Milk Shake are the only BLs I'm fully enjoying at the moment.
I don’t think they should be pushing Eeiw to deal with the father. He has the right to his anger and let the…
It was outrageous. It would be OK to try to get him to deal with the situation but on THAT specific day? What a bunch of awful people. At least wait until the ashes of cooled.
I stopped watching it after 3 episodes. A few weeks later, I decided to give it a try. Probably you have to stick…
I kept with it, but I wish I hadn't - it was just too repetitive and felt like a waste of talent. Cake hurts Eiw, Eiw cries - a lot - Earth cute-bullies him into not being made at him, rinse, repeat. When that finally stopped after twelve episodes, You Know What happed to make Eiw cry - a lot - and Earth cute-bullied him into talking about something he repeatedly said he didn't want to talk about - on the day the You Know What'ed Eiw's You Know Who.
To be fair, if Santa looked at me like that I do whatever he wanted too, but fourteen eps of it was a bit much.
He lost his mother, what did you expect him to do, not cry.
How about if the author didn't put that in? How much can you stuff into one story to make a character cry? Earth's laugh is charming, but it would annoy the f@$& out of me if I had to listen to it non-stop for fourteen episodes.
I feel differently than the others saying the ending episodes being not needed, I think the strength of the series…
You found it relatable that someone got LUNG cancer and none of her children noticed? My grandfather got it and it was pretty darned noticablem I must say, with all the blood and mucus spat up constantly. I found this plotline contrived, poorly set up, and insensitive, using cancer - caused by thirdhand smoke, of all things - to inflict pain on Eiw and elicit more crying porn. I am glad you got something from it, but I found it tiresome. When everything for fourteen episodes is designed to make one character cry, it's a fetish, not a story.
It was okay until the last 2 episodes. That last story arc did nothing for the series in a positive way.
TBH, the whole series was a repetitive mess designed to make Earth cry as much as possible. It ended up a 7 for me. I probably would have given it an 8 if they'd ended it with ep twelve.
I was expecting Peak at the funeral to ask "Do you want to get married today? We could save a lot of money and reuse these flowers."
I didn't hate this series, but I didn't really enjoy it, either. I liked looking at Cake, but I'm really tired of Earth and his crying. It's not his fault, because they keep putting him in these roles, but I'm really over it.
can anyone explain the last scene? i didnt get it, what was it about?
There was a test many episodes ago where they thought Pisa was in France, and that guy's been saying that and looking stupid this whole time. Like asking girls if they want to go to France with him to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
probably will be an unpopular opinion but I didn't like the final episode that much. too heavy and too depressing…
I'm struggling through it now. I'm really trying to understand what the point of this series was other than for Earth to cry all the time. Really over it. I like him, but can he do something else now please?
God, I'm still working up the motivation for the last 2 episodes... How on earth were people this excited for…
I'd skip it. I tried to watch the finale and kept ff and ff, and then it ended, but even ff I could, unfortunately, understand what was going on.
I'm not so much drawing a line at trauma, but the damage done by a gang rape and months of actual torture being cured by a kiss is so offensive that I truly feel for anyone that watched that with trauma in their past.
