This book is terrible I couldn’t get past the first couple of chapters. It’s written so, very fucking badly.…
That's a pity because the story sounded interesting. Maybe the screenwriters adapting it will be more talented than the author. Let's see who's starring and directing - maybe we'll be surprised. I didn't expect to like My Engineer either.
[Looks at headshots of two leads] Yup, I'm in. Also, it's about a teddy bear come to life for gay sex, so how can I not watch this? If Nat is not a high school or engineering student, this is already a 10/10.
havent read the synopsis yet but even the cast makes me sooo exited
The cast makes me extremely excited, but the plot synopsis makes me want to go screaming into the night. Ugh, another girlfriend in the way story. But I'll watch because Pod & Mile are in it. But I don't promise not to ff through all the scenes they're not in. :)
Why are so many people shitting on this show? I’ve rewatched it literally 8 times and it’s still so wholesome,…
I don't care that Win wasn't handsome, although they kept saying he was the most handsome man in school, which is so incredibly not true that it makes it a little silly - the problem is that Win is a whiny stalker with no attractive qualities and there is no chemistry between the leads. I don't see what's "cute" - a weird stalker goes after a guy for no particular reason other than that he's attracted to people who lose gears? It was torture to watch this, but I felt I had to see it to understand Love Mechanics.
I was loving this until they threw in the girl in the middle trope. What a fucking tiresome piece of shit plot device - do Asian writers have no imagination at all? Fuck!
I like the story and characters, but the awful laugh track makes this almost unwatchable. Does it go throughout the entire series? Also, the intro gives me seizures.
I noticed it the first time I saw it, and I like it. I always remember that it's technically incorrect grammar,…
Well, it's possibly incorrect grammar - it depends. If it's a tale of a place or person called "Thousand Stars" then it's fine. It's a tale about a quanty of stars, then it's probably wrong. I don't know why I wrote this but I blame Coronavirus.
Stupidthinker is right. If television programming is similar in Thailand, as in the West or the US, local stations/networks…
Until ep 14?!? Ugh. I can't take 3 more episodes of this. I'd rather have 3 more BTS instead. The other problem with what they're doing is when you're filming, you edit down the material and keep the best stuff - if you air 20 times more footage than planned, you get substandard dreck watering down the wine. Couldn't they have just tested Zon & Saifah, cleared them, thrown them in a room together and let them do... well just about anything would be more interesting than watching Saint pout. This series started out as one of the best BLs I've ever seen, and it just evaporated after the first half. Remeber the anime scenes, weird dream sequences, and other-universe BL couples showing up all over the place? What happened?
Okay, see? I told you guys something was off with the last ep. Apparently, according to lazy subber, they aren't…
I don't think they can film in April - I doubt COVID will be over before July, although Thailand is much warmer than where I am, so maybe they'll get quicker relief. But if it takes forever, I'll still wait for Zon & Saifah.
There are plenty of films and shows that depict gay male emotional intimacy - obviously porn doesn't, it's all about sex. But this isn't porn, and so two hours of zero plot with two guys at a beach resort is deathly boring, especially when one of them is Saint. What makes a romance exciting is the tension leading up to a resolution - there have to be obstacles to overcome and character development. Tutor & Fighter had some very well-done love scenes, but when Saifah & Zon finally kissed, I actually burst into tears. Also, just because they're doing romantic things doesn't make it fun to watch - Saint's body is always stiff and he seems to lean as far away from Fighter as he can get away with - whereas Zon just melts into Saifah. I thought I could never possibly get enough of shirtless Fighter, but even that wasn't enough to hold my attention. They should have just stopped filming wherever they were and waited to finish the series post-COVID instead of producing hours of filler material.
Are you talking about this?https://twitter.com/saintlybunny/status/1212626395962036225?s=19
You are not. But I can't tell you how happy I am to meet someone else who isn's a Saint fan. When I don't care for someone that everyone else likes, I can usually still "get" why people feel that way. Not here. I just don't understand why everyone loves Saint - he is a terrible actor and I don't think he's very attractive. He would have ruined this series because the actor has to have good comic timing, and Saint doesn't have good anything timing.
I do not understand the low ratings - bizarre. I still haven't watched the last couple of episodes of Until We Meet Again because I just don't care, but I'm in pain waiting for the next episode of this. Everything about it is good - even the recycled tropes are given new life, the acting is great, the leads have obvious chemistry but it's not overplayed, there are no accidental kisses (whenever that happens I start to lose interest - if you fell down the stairs and your lips smashed into someone else's, there would be blood and teeth everywhere. Not romantic), no girlfriend in the way, even the OOT gay guy is different - like when he beat the crap out of four people at once. And they do it without a whiff of homophobia. I love this.
ZEE IS SO HOT I CANT GET OVER ITwish he was paired with someone else... bUT IT'S OKAY
Yeah, I wish they had paired him with the almost-as-attractive Tommy (or he would be if they'd get rid of that stupid haircut). I find Saint almost totally unappealing.
Looking forward to seeing a more confident Saint, I thought he played the timid kid in LBC really well though…
I am 100% with you. I'm still in the silly phase of the ep and I'm struggling to get through it. I'll do my best to watch the 3rd part, but the sound effects are making me want to murder people. Also, the bangs. Are foreheads sinful in Thai culture or something? At least they're showing some skin - without that I would probably have given up by now.
I almost gave up on 3 Will Be Free - fortunately the end of Ep 2 made it clear Jennie would play a major role and so I was hooked. She was f#$%ing scary at the end of the ep when she vowed revenge. And what was fantastic was that she played it realistically instead of cartoonishly, which is an extremely positive development in Thai drama, which tends to marginalize and make ridiculous trans characters. I absolutely love her and will watch anything she is in.
