They're doing it! Both stars are in. I don't know when, but I imagine soon. You can thank Heated Rivalry.
So apparently the budget isn't high enough to do NYC, so it'll be somewhere close and cheaper like Taiwan. That's depressing to me because I live in the US.
Do you have any links to any official announcements? What is your source?
My source is a bit personal - so I'd rather not say, but I'll ask if there's anything official coming up or available. I will say that this is very reliable.
Yes, I would , because there was no grooming. Waiting for someone to grow up and then doing absolutely nothing whatsoever to him that's even mildly inappropriate is not grooming. There are plenty of things that are immoral that I WANT to do. That doesn't make me immoral. It's acting on such desires that is. A person can't help how he feels and can't be judged for those feelings, only his actions.
Also, guys! Guys. The word you are looking for is "porn".Not corn, not 🌽.Not p*rn, pr0n, pay gorn or…
It's because algorithms downgrade you for using words like porn, hence corn, pew-pew (gun), unalive (kill) unalived himself (suicide) etc. It's tiresome but it's the virtual world we live in.
But I don't think that matters on MDL, so bring on the porn genocide!
I haven't read the whole opinion, but I already have to disagree with it wanting to be like kinnporsche, because…
That's why I said it wanted to be a PG-rated KinnPorche. I don't know if you have the same rating system wherever you are, but in the US "R-Rated" (R for "restricted) have sex and transgressive behavior. PG (actually PG-13) can't have these things and are usually safe for 13-year olds to watch and are more the rainbows & unicorns that BL audiences seek.
Also, Neung drugs Palm with pills he bought from a drug-dealer, which could have killed him. That is assault and battery and could have been negligent - so this is not a field of green flags either.
I haven't finished it yet, but watching it is a form of torture. If you want to take a writing course, you don't need to bother - jusy wtch this series and don't do anything thkis writer did.
It's hard to invest in a series wwhen the main character is a complete idiot who is incapable of empathy or learning from his mistakes, yet he's a totally incompetent psychopath who had no suspicion of other people's motives and just blindly accepts as fact everything everyone tells him, even if he knows they're trying to control or destroy him. If he's everyv given control of the company, it will collapse in a week.
Also, is there actually a plot? If I'm going to watch something this pointless, there needs to be a lot more porn. There's only so much I get out of watching someone be angry all day.
This isn't a criticism, just an observation - in a lot of series from all countries, they try to make characters seem sophisticated by fine Western dining & wine, but then do things like chug the wine in a gulp, which would be shocking and barbaric in a Western context - plus I don't know how you can down it that fast and taste anything. A waste of expensive wine.
I enjoyed the first two eps, but the third I'm having trouble getting through. Doha is to much of an immature mess to work as a romantic lead and it's really difficult to imagine why three hot men (well, two hot men and a creepy one) would be so interested in him. Maybe they want children but don't like changing diapers. Although I wouldn't be shocked if that's a requirement for being Doha's boyfriend.
I think the team leader should get together with the smoking-hot best friend and the shiould let Doha finish primary school before anyone shows any interest in him.
That was harsh, but the whole episode is him standing around staring blankly while people talk to him, which is dull and isn't how people act, which takes me out of the story. It was just a kiss, not crazed monkey sex - who cares? Just ask them. But I guess Ep 4 made up for this a little.
The acting in this is excellent, though, especially the best friend, who has great comic timing and is so good at being vulnerable yet strong.
What I love about this is that while Hioki is clearly an uke, he is in no way weak or helpless, and while he's (very justifiably) confused and freaked out, none of it is due to feelings of inadequacy or insecurity - he's not even bothered when the girls line up for photos with the "hot" friends.
He's even self-contained and is fine being alone - not lonely. In fact, he's more self-assured and self-aware than Watarai, who is lonely and insecure. Even the wiping the food off the face cliche didn't bother me because it wasn't infantilizing like it usually is, since Hioki doesn't need to be taken care of and seems the stronger of the two. He clearly has feelings for Watarai, but he doesn't need him, which is not true, while Watarai does need him.
I love the writing - it doesn't spin in circles or rehash the same themes over and over, and the acting is excellent - the friends are so naturalistic and I never "feel" them acting, and Fujimoto carries this with his acting - Hioki's expressions and reactions are hilarious and never OTT, and his theme is "what the f@#$ is happening?!?" rather than "they all just pity me woe is me" like 99% of ukes would react to this situation.

Anyway, I love it.
