I personally really liked the approach they took. It made it feel so grounded, though I do think sometimes it’s a bit overdone, mainly when the female lead talks to people and there is long awkward silences that don’t usually go on that long in real life. I understand your point of view, even though you probably don’t remember this movie at all since this review is 4 years old. I think it’s really an acquired taste

we only know what happened in the webtoon (he appears at the end) but the webtoon and the show are pretty different and suho’s character in the webtoon is like the opposite to his character in the show so he could wake up in the next season or not wake up at all, we don’t know

edit: i looked at your profile and it’s good to see another sweet home hater, the only thing that show has going for it is the fact that some of the actors are good

just know it’s fairly violent and about bullying. try and watch like the first 5 or so minutes of the first episode and see what you think, in my opinion it’s the type of drama that is best watched when you know little to nothing about it at first, if you like the first few minutes you will probably like the rest of the drama (also idk if it’s the first 5 minutes, just watch until the intro plays)

yep idk why MDL puts release dates on things that don’t have a confirmed release date. If you look at lee junyoung’s upcoming dramas they all have a november 30th release date, which was 3 days ago, and yet they still aren’t out lol. they should just put a year not a specific date, which hasn’t even been confirmed but we know that ryeoun is a reliable source so 2025 would make sense

When has a project ever been shelved because of those reasons? I can’t think of one single example. Usually even if it is garbage they will release it anyway, and that’s if it’s bad. I can’t think of a single example where this has happened and if it has then I probably haven’t heard of it for a reason lol. Also for the ‘stable and well crafted final product’ part, they have already filmed the show and likely have almost finished or finished editing it. I don’t see why they can only give it publicity with less than a month before it releases

I think people think it’s coming out then because it says it on MDL. I’m not saying it won’t come out then but I have seen no statements from anyone about the exact release date. Also they haven’t even released a teaser yet so putting it out this month would be strange

I don’t understand the correlation between giving it publicity and shelving it, why can’t they give it publicity and it not be shelved, they definitely have the material to make a teaser or something
