7 is a valid rating (equivalent to an 8 in MDL rating standards) if we ignore the blandness of the female lead and the main couple in general everything else is top tier, the OST, cinematography, both side couples (to me at least) were interesting, the pacing is very good, acting is great, and so on

director hasn’t made a good drama since 2013 (i haven’t seen hotel de luna) so my hopes are not high

the plot of this at least makes more sense than love alarm, i see so many brainlets defending love alarm season 1 when both seasons suck. the plot is actually pretty similar to this in terms of romance (guy goes after his best friends crush) but atleast in the impossible heir it was explained why lmao

ngl jaewook have such a mid performance at least compared to junyoung, but junyoung always outshines everyone else when playing psychos to be fair

true, even taking the okay story into account the rating is still far too low imo

i feel bad for you, your first kdrama was one in the top 3 so the other kdramas you’ve watched must be underwhelming

this is a movie that’s so bad that it’s good, as in the story made little sense and characters were super unrealistic (i feel like intentionally) but it was still entertaining, i give it 7 as i was a massive fan of the cinematography, colour palette and other things and enjoyed it a lot

same, i tried to pick it back up and watched some of episode 3 and it was SO BAD i like the two main actors but they were not enough to make me watch this abomination of a show
