I think you will enjoy it more if you read the webtoon, it is very good and you will probably come to love the characters, which will make you excited to see how they are adapted. Me personally, I read the entire webtoon after season 1, twice, and I don’t regret doing it because it’s really good and gave me an idea of what changes were made and how they were done in the show. You will be waiting a long time for the weak hero show to end I imagine (as s1 was successful and now that s2 is on netflix it will be even more successful, thus they will likely make more than 2 seasons), so you may as well read it now lol.

Because Soo-ho only exists in Si-eun’s backstory (till the end of the webtoon) and isn’t a part of the main story. In the show he is much more developed than in the webtoon, and also his webtoon counterpart is very different. I think he should show up in later seasons, but not season 2

He is pretty experienced and has been in quite a few super popular dramas such as DP and hospital playlist, and they don’t really need to have the same vibes, cause neither do the actor for Gray, Wolf, and even maybe Donald. All of them have/will do a great job though, and I think that he can pull off Jake. I do admit that there may be better casting choices though I’m just not sure who they might be

Id say school 2021 is a mediocre drama but still better than 2015

I might try this because I am curious. Everyone is saying it sucks but I want to try it because it was directed by the same guy who did the Jojo live action and also Crows Zero, which is very unexpected, how did Miike even end up directing a Korean drama anyways?

After finishing DP season 1 and 2, I have very high hopes for the cast of this. Bae Na-ra was amazing as Nina and if he gets a good script playing Donald he could be an top tier k-drama villain. Lee Jun-young, kinda has to do what he always has done I guess. All his bully characters are extremely similar, and I’m not complaining to be honest. In DP his character was incredibly aggressive and crazy, which is what I expect Wolf to be as well. I don’t think I’d mind if other DP cast members showed up here despite being in their mid thirties (like Jung Hae-in and Go Kyung-po), specifically Go Kyung-po rather than Jung Hae-in because of how incredibly qualified he and other cast members are playing massive asshole trash talkers and having worked with the director already lol

i shall watch it close to when season 2 comes out so that i won’t become obsessed with it like i did with weak hero

‘weak hero class 2 will not be that much different from weak hero’, so there’s a chance we may actually get gerard, rowan and teddy
