This drama got romance with wuxia stuff + palace politics schemes between princes as the main plot. So LLTG is…
Thank you for your reply. I understand that they are different genres, but I'm not asking for the external/superficial comparisons, mainly if one has more romance than the other.
He's the evil demon sect leader and fought in the war against heaven with Wu Zhi Qi, later betraying him. I won't…
It feels like she is the cause of all of his problems, but the backstory makes everything make sense. It's hard seeing her calling out his name when a little trust in him would have gone a long way, but Si Feng lies too, albeit by omission. If I were her, I would have broken the puzzle the first night lol I have to say that this is up there in terms of satisfying endings, it brought the warm and fuzzies.
Is the romance worth it/is there a considerable amount of it? I'm on episode 2 and not sure if it will be overtly…
Thanks for getting back to me! The quality seems top notch, but Wuxia is not my usual genre. I skipped to the end and the conclusion basically has them chilling and drawing each other's eyebrows, which seems to be a thing in most historical c-dramas? I get that they're married, but the affection is very subtle. Would you say that Love like the Galaxy is more romantic?

The episodes and some characters can be frustrating. Especially draining is Si Feng loving Xuanji wholeheartedly and her coldness at times mixed with obliviousness due to not having a heart. I caught myself thinking that she didn't deserve him and later on that they should just part ways, but I am pleased to say that it gets better! I think things improve vastly by episode 44-47. ๐ It is quite the time investment, though I recommend watching the final scene to build your spirits or AMVs of the couple since they will eventually be happy. Their scenes are cute, but the politics and scheming make you want to slap somebody lol I think it gives you hope for humanity, although most characters are hypocritical and backstabbing.
Can somebody just give me a spoiler about the Vice Lord of Lize Palace? Does he hate Si Feng because he wants…
He's the evil demon sect leader and fought in the war against heaven with Wu Zhi Qi, later betraying him. I won't say more for fear of ruining the experience, but he manipulates people's secrets for his benefit and really wants to rule the 3 realms. How is watching the drama going?
Thanks to writers for giving Ji Yun new loveline. She really deserve someone who really loves her not someone…
She did ask him to use her on a few separate occasions, and if I recall, fell into the pool on purpose so that he would rescue her and she wouldn't look "pathetic" sitting in her room, as per Kang Chae Ri. This was not the only option as the lawyer lady chose to stay away, but Ji Yun wanted to present a certain image to the world since she was already there. She hoped that in making the deal with Jae Hoon to appear like a couple, he would eventually fall for her, which was delusional. This is really a question of making your bed and then being mad about lying in it. Ji Yun can have another love-line as this would be a welcomed reprieve from her mooning over a blatantly disinterested man who she met a handful of times, but it doesn't change the fact that she begged him to use her.
Ji Yun didn't care for her self-respect when it came to Jae Hoon, is it any wonder that he gave it the same amount of consideration? Her character is very hard to root for and I hope she does a lot of introspection to identify her part in how things played out instead of just hating Jae Hoon for not loving her, which admittedly would be cliche and tiresome to watch.
I love Mary-Kate and Ashley!!! The movie is The Challenge btw ๐
Lol right! I read their Two of a Kind and So Little Time series as well as watched almost all of the movies and tv shows. They're still my girls. I know they left acting, but it gives me unbound pleasure that Elizabeth is doing such a great job! Seeing her act brings back the nostalgia, if you know what I mean. Wishing them all the best. โค
I do still say jihoon was wrong playing along out of "kindness". Dude should've spent all their off camera time…
TRUE! They could have gotten close with their silhouettes, but not really kissed. Iโm glad they didnโt since Ji Yeon would undoubtedly get more feelings for Jae-Hoon. It turned out better this way. ๐

Lol ohh, I see! Let's be nothing adjacent ๐
I gave her the biggest side-eye when she asked him to do that and also during the aftermath of playing the kiss off like it was nothing. I get why she did it, but it definitely was not the move ๐
There is no let-up in terms of the hits this man takes, it's almost sadistic?
