Okay so this was said to be a leak from the script a long time ago, like I said, we aren't sure if it's true.
But Lu Wuyi is actually not a real person. She was created by Jiu Ying, she has no real feelings. And Wu Wangyan also, Jiu Ying created her just to give Lu Wuyi the illusion that she's real. So that's why basically she's the perfect fit for Jiu Ying.
If you notice in the opening credits, you can see JJY as Jiu Ying, with the black long hair and robes. There's a lot of her in the trailers as well!!

The one who gets most of the hate is Ju Jingyi, people don't like her acting, her voice, her make-up, they just find a lot to say🤷🏻♀️ It depends on what you like, I love her, her acting is good, and her voice is sweet like honey. Nothing wrong with her make-up.
