No this year was pretty hard for me, the only drama I genuinely REALLY enjoyed was VOS😭 I dropped 9/10 of the 2026 dramas because I've become really picky. I don't like it when MLs fall first pretty early and are so devoted to FL whike she focuses on her revange and business and honesty most of them were like that this year🤣 So I can only recommend you Genius Girlfriend as I dropped everything else🤣 Nothing hits like VOS indeed. I'm just waiting for Lai Zhan/Let's Fight with Ju Jingyi and Zhang Yunlong which is probably coming in September/October (shamelessly promoting it to you🤣)

Yes I loved VOS they're my favs as well🥹 I also loved them beacau they both cared equally for eachother. They're definitely my no1 couple overall.
For this one, I think they're both equal. In their school year, it mostly comes from ML (even tho he did some questionable stuff at the start). They're good friends since day one and he's also the first friend FL made so she loves him dearly. When they get older, FL is the one who goes after him because he NEEDS it. He needs someone to take him out of the darkness and she's the one. (It doesn't last long tho and they go back to fluffiness) But to be completely honest with you, I lost interest in the main couple pretty fast. I only watched this for the Zeqiu and Baihui pairing otherwise I would have dropped it. If you like slow burn romance with friendship you can give it a try. But most of the drama takes place in school years, and the drama gets way better in the adult era.
