Up to Episode 3 - really enjoying the scenes where the three childhood friends hang out with each other. The actors are very good at that dynamic - the ease with really old friends and how you know just how to support each other and also rile each other up.

Ah so the characterization of Fujisaki as a fujoshi in the anime is more accurate to the manga? I'm watching the anime now, and I really prefer how she is in the drama.

on episode 15 - I actually really like Modern Baek Do Yi and her love interest, not really looking forward to that all being wrecked :(

Song Ha Yoon is now one of my favorite actors. She did an amazing job with Soo Min.

There was random green screen that I noticed like the video playing on the grandmother's phone and I think there was a weird blue screen on a billboard when the friend group was at the beach - off the top of my head.

What was weirder to me was the world's most sparse music festival audience. lol. They should have kept to tighter shots during the festival scenes to make up for the lack of extras.

I stumbled across this on Netflix this weekend and clicked through on whim. So glad I did! Such a sweet story without extended misunderstandings or drama. Sometime you want a show that treats its characters gently and this one fits the bill. I watched the whole show over the weekend with my niece and we both loved it.

Loved Old Fashioned Cupcake!! Someone recced this and said it was similar to Cherry Magic (another series I loved) so I am giving it a try. It definitely isn't up to the level of OFC or Cherry Magic though.

Wouldn't watch a show featuring Amber (not a fan) so we'd probably skip this one. We like alternating, so we will look for a girl group one next :)

Ha - I (and my sisters) were watching this and had no idea about the insanity around the finale. We just finished the penultimate episode and were like "Where is the finale?!?" and then we looked it up and couldn't believe all that happened. Feel bad for Tony (hope he is enjoying college life in New York)

I dropped it at episode 7 because FL stays terrible.

Yeah that is a romance trope pretty popular in JRomance. If you watch other genres though you can get stronger Japanese woman.

Got to episode 7 and just had to drop it. Why is everyone in love with Shiragi Risa?? She is literally more boring than watching paint dry.
