again , I hate MinSeong for separating two couples.
Min Seong came in late and knew literally nothing about the people in the house. How is it his fault? He’s participating in the show just like everyone else.
Blame the contestants for letting Min Seong get in the way of their advances. That’s their own responsibility to continue approaching the people they’re interested in, even if there are other people involved. That’s how dating shows work.
I’m really nervous for the future of this show. People are too picky about it and I hope it doesn’t reach producers who begin to believe no one likes gay dating shows. As a gay man from hk, it’s a gem that I don’t want to lose :(
I wish people would stop watching something if they don’t like how it’s turning out. What’s the point of complaining every week?
I would’ve enjoyed this a lot more if they committed to the bit of “dark, forbidden love with complex characters,” that was showed in the first half. I think the ending made sense and I have no true criticisms about it, but the mood of the start of the show should’ve stayed. This was adapted from a webtoom though so maybe the ending being brighter was purposeful.
I understand the frustration with some of the contestants, but I feel like y’all are going too far with the clout chasing accusations. Sure, maybe if you’re not from Korea it could seem that way, gay for pay is a thing, but there is genuinely no long-term pay off from coming out and being on a gay dating show.
“But they’ll gain followers!” Yeah, from international people who have little to no impact on their actual life. Their parents, employers, friends might see this and not take it lightly. For every follower they gain on social media from this show, they likely gain multiple homophobes simply for the fact that they’re gay and on an “embarrassing” show.
I don’t know, it’s just frustrating seeing people act as if being gay in Korea is some sort of ticket to stardom. If anything, it’s extremely limiting and even stars who are openly queer are either stereotyped to hell, seen as a circus attraction, or still get bigoted remarks everyday.
Ya'll are seriously overestimating how much "clout" they'll get from this show that'll translate into actual success that can support their lives. Because some random teenage fujo from a different country commenting heart eyes on their Instagram is NOT going to pay the bills lmao.
The amount of fans who are disrespecting this show without even seeing a single trailer is crazy. You know that if you don’t like something, you can simply just… not watch it? Personally, I don’t see the big deal about the casting. You’re fooling yourself if you expected Korean-based yaoi visuals from a Thai adaptation lol.
FreenBecky fans always have to start drama regarding anything their actresses touch. This looks like a great movie, who cares if it’s “satanic” or “too inappropriate.” Freen is an actress, she can’t stick to Becky and GL her entire career.

Can someone who isn’t a Song Kang fan give me an honest review of this season? Is it that bad or is it just another case of an actor’s fans not being satisfied when their favorite actor doesn’t always get the girl?
I remember watching season 1 back in 2019 and really enjoying it.
I hope these guys have good people around them, they need to prepare for the hate obsessive BL fans will inevitably send them once they no longer fit their fantasy (for example, the reaction to season 3).
It’s a dating show, so I’m not sure why a majority of His Man watchers are so hellbent on treating it like a survival show where you “stan” the contestants and don’t see them as real people who can be messy at times.
Not everything will be fluffy and perfect, that’s not how relationships work. If you want that, watch a K-Drama!
This season got way too much hate. I think the issue was that BL fans started watching His Man seeing these guys as characters who must end up with someone (surprise, the world doesn’t work like that lol) and got angry when their fantasy didn’t happen. Relationships can be messy and complicated, and this season showed that.
