Are my ears deceiving me or did the editors decide to put kissing sound effects over BigPark’s makeout sessions? They aren’t even timed correctly. If they weren’t able to use the original audio, I would just prefer music. Regardless I really like their chemistry.
I scream internally every time Tommy comes up on the screen. I was such a fan of him and Jimmy when Why R U was airing. His character doesn’t do much but I’m not complaining
I’m pleasantly surprised by this show. I usually don’t watch series that are overly comedic but this works for some reason. In the best way possible, it seems like a BL that would be released during quarantine. Also BigPark look really good together.
His new agency needs to do some serious filtering of his comment section. The fact that it’s still full of hate years later is honestly mental illness. This is why I’m always wary of people who ship these actors just a little too much, their true colors always show in the end.
P'New needs to take a break from directing and do some reflection. I don't even care that he enjoys making BLs that are generally more comedic and fluffy, that's not the problem. My issue with him is that to this day he still struggles with very basic director mistakes like continuity errors and poor planning which are things he should've addressed and fixed years ago. Sorry but just because you cast hot men doesn't mean people won't be able to notice how rushed some of his shows are.
Also, Prem, I love you, but Boun is carrying this ship on his back. Acting classes are needed.
Whoever is telling these Thai actors to get the pointiest nose possible needs to be fired. There was literally no reason for him to get work done besides insecurity stemming from a toxic entertainment industry who doesn’t even like the look of their OWN PEOPLE. If you’re Thai, embrace it. I hate this trend of trying to look as Korean or European as possible.

Yes! I think the issue with some BLs is that when it comes to the romance-plot balance, they go for either extremes. It’s either heavily BL focused with the plot adding no value and always leaving viewers unsatisfied/confused or heavily plot-focused to the point where the BL starts turning more into a dry bromance simply because there’s not enough development to the relationship.
So far, I’m liking the balance. I can count on the main leads having chemistry and clear feelings for each other while also looking forward to the political (in this case, royal?) side of things. So far, I believe every character has a clear purpose or motive which has been enjoyable to see.
This show was a fever dream but that can be said for most BLs from the early 2010s. When it’s good, it’s really good and has a vibe that new BLs don’t even have. But when it’s bad, it’s REALLY bad. I’m glad we’re somewhat past the “assault is sexy” narrative.
