So far what I feel like is that they used most of their budget on Not My Father but Diva Deva Mata still looks expensive cuz the stylists are eating like their life depends on it. Not My Father had their own goofy song and the couple background score and everything but Hi By My Luck and DDM doesn't have those. All they have is abracadabra yet they persist. I'm loving these short story series tho. I wish sammy had a lead role in one of these.
I've been in a bl/gl slump for about an year now. I started many series and left it at few eps in. I tried watching this without any expectations and i really feel like this was exactly what I needed. There's only little in the ways of plot but they didn't drag anything it was straightforward and sweet. I really like comedy and this was very well done. The comic timing of all of the cast was perfect. I think for a comeback of one of the ogs this was a safe project. And I hope to see singto and krist in many more projects from now on. Also gimme that jamie-earn yuri. The only thing that gave me the ick was the dude pushing 40 tryna date college students. Idk why nobody was calling his arse out or am i too woke.. Apart from that creep everything was perfect for me.
this was a 10/10 drama until the second half of last EP. the way I punched the air when she said "idc/don't wanna know how this happened" like- like i care.. what phenomenon exactly caused this.. hello?? That scene just made me violent I'm not even kidding. Everything was perfect up until then. I loved the cooking scenes, i wish there were more instead of the romance. Tbh i couldn't feel any chemistry between the leads.

it was extremely underwhelming. better than the last two seasons of squid game tho. still there was no element of surprise or excitement. and what the hell was that cliffhanger. i think we can agree inclusion of a child into deadly games are a recipe for disaster. netflix didn't learn anything from squid game tanking.
