please recommend me more dramas like this.... and which have similar slow vibes... like this or tell me that you…
My suggestions would be Something In the Rain, One Spring Night, A Piece of Your Mind and Call it love. They all have that slice of life/slow feel just like Our Move.
I'm confused, everyone keeps saying it's a 20 year age gap but that can't be true. He traveled from 1995 to 2022, that's 27 years. (But the description says he traveled 25 years into the future so idk).
also the creepy part is not just the age gap of 27 years, it's the fact that to everyone else they are a 45 year old man persuing his friend's teenage son. In this new reality he has known about Bamee since birth.
If I were Kiew I would accept that Bamee was a part of my life as a teenager and move on. When meeting him again 27 years later I would not be able to see him as a potential love interest again. Because I've had 27 years to gain life experience while Bamee has not. The stakes are different now, things can't be the same. and Bamee did not even remember him at first, they should have kept it at that and just showed Kiew being nostalgic but has moved on.
it bothers me so much that Min Woo Cheon was whispering throughout the entire drama. I mean, Pyo In Sook supposedly has a hearing loss and you are telling me that she can hear what he says?? As someone with a hearing loss i find that very hard to believe.
I really like Do Bong Soon and I will try watch a few more eps because of her. But this show is making homosexuality…
I've watched all the eps that have aired so far, but honestly I skipped a a few scenes so I must have missed the hints of someone else being gay/bi, could you tell me who it is?
I really like Do Bong Soon and I will try watch a few more eps because of her. But this show is making homosexuality appear as a joke and also there has been a few homofobic lines (especially från the mom) and I'm feeling really uncomfortable seeing this in a show from 2017. Like, 'Coffee Prince' is 10 years old and even that show handled the sexuality topic a lot better.
I hoped Ahn Min Hyeok would at least be bisexual and that it would not be another case of "lol no I'm straight and I have a very heatlhy sexuality, thank you." (that implies that homosexuality is not healthy and almost a illness.)
how is eating ranyun a cliche tho? It's a common food in korea so of course ramyun will appear a lot lol. It's like saying potatoes is a cliche in swedish shows, when in fact it's just a traditional food:)
Anyways, my fav cliche is probably forced cohabitation and contract marriages/fake relationships. Idk why I just really enjoy those fake relationships turn into a real one:))))
Was not sure if I was going to watch this or not but Im so glad I did, I was obsesses since ep 1! This drama is AMAZING. So much flow, so thrilling, I never feel bored or want to skip scenes (although I do skip some scenes because Im so nervous hehe). I've not been so thrilled since signal. Need more dramas like this one.
What I like the most if probably the team work and watching them grow together and become a great team and also develop into great human beings - not only because of Teacher Kim, they all learn from each other and work together. It's so beautiful to watch. Such a well written drama.
And even if there are Pure Evil Characters™ Im not as annoyed by them as I usually am because it's balanced well with kind of evil characters who snap out of their bubble to become decent human beings thanks to Teacher Kim and our other dear hospital staff<3
I'm a bit disappointed that a couple with some abusive relationship history tops the couple poll :/ There…
I agree. Of course it's only cus Moonlovers wins pretty much every category it's in since its so overhyped. But I really did not want that abusive and destrutive relationship to win best couple... I don't get how anyone can turn abuse into "romance".
I already know I will be disappointed by the results:) Please give some love to Reply !988, Dear My Friends, Another Miss Oh and Age of Youth. Those were AMAZING.
I get it, you all loved Moon Lovers... Sure it was good but defineately not good enough to win ALL the categories... I really don't want moonlovers to win best couple because that was the most destructive relationship I've watched in a while. The same with Jealousy Incarnate, not a relationship in would recommend in real life. But Jealousy Incarnate was actuallt a really good show, unique with a very good story telling and scenography + v nice details/editing.
Kim Seul Gi AND Yoon So Hee?? Definitely watching this! Too bad it only has 3 eps:( When is Kim Seul Gi finally getting her main role in a 16 eps drama? She deserves it.
Gong Hyo Jin has so much charm I don't understand how one can not love her. Sure her characters are a bit similar but there are many actors and actresses who always play the same kind of characters (like Lee Jong Suk for example).
I like So Ji Sub but his character in Masters Sun was to arrogant for my taste, he has played better roles. But the chemestry between GHJ and SJS and was great and one of the reason why Masters Sun is so good. SJS has said in interviews that he really loved working with GHJ and I would like them to act alongside again because I think they both would enjoy that:)
Let's Fight Ghost wasn't that good. I mean, Kim So Hyun did a great job as usual but I don't understand why they had to use actors close to 30 to play students and after watching Kwon Yools emotionless face in 'One more happy ending' I was not sure if it was becaue of his charater this time or if he's just plain boring all the time. The plot made no sence until about at least 12 eps in. It had some funny moments tho I'll give it that.
Oh my ghost was good, Kim Seul Gi is bae. The love story made me confused but I still liked it.
If I where to rank these three (those are the ones I've watched) it would be: 1. Oh My Ghost 2. Masters Sun and 3. Lets Fight Ghost
Thank you for adding Arang and the Magistrate in the list beause that reminded me that I should watch it soon. I love Shin Min Ah and Lee Joon Gi has proved that he has some great acting skills so I'm definitely picking up this drama soon:)
I actually don't like the idea of her meeting So's reincanation in present time. I've never understood why this is a popular ending for time-travel dramas.
There is really no romatic aspect of her meeting a present-So because that is just a stranger who happens to like like past-So. Present-So is not past-So. Present-So would not have all the memories that Wang So and Hae Soo shares, he would not have the same personality and charactaristics either. Wang So's personality is the way it because of his tragic childhood and experience of being abandoned + everything he leared from Hae Soo about the good things in life. There is no way present-So would have the same personality, and if he did it would be unrealistic. I really don't understand why it's considered a "happy ending" if she meets someone that looks like So? Then she might as well meet someone else, forget about all the tragic and traumatic things she had to go through in the goryeo era and live a happy life.
So yes, I am happy with the ending that we got. It's a very sad and tragic ending indeed, but that's what I expected since most of the drama was really sad anyway.
Is My Wife is Having An Affair This Week really inspired by a true story? Because the plot of that drama really reminds me of something that happened in my town and on an app. I wrote about it on the drama's page if anyone wants to read what happened
the plot of this drama reminds me of something that happened in my town recently. There is this app in my country where you can post anonymosly and comment on other peoples post and you can only see the posts from people located in the same town as you.
Anyways, a woman posted on that app and wrote that she suspected that her boyfriend was cheating on her and that she believed that he would to it that night again. She asked people on the app what she should do: she was sleeping over at her sisters place and she thought her boyfriend was going to invite his lover to their home - a) should she ignore it and stay at her sisters place or b) should she try and catch them in the act? Everyone convinced her that she should try and expose her boyfriend. Long story short, she updated everyone on the app the entire night on what was going on (she got home and there was two wine glasses in the living room, she waited and two hours later her boyfriend and the other girl came home). Her boyfriend was caught red-handed, she kicked them both out, packed all his stuff for him to come get the day after (the apartment was hers so she could just kick him out, luckily).
It was an intense night, both for her and everyone involved in the app who were waiting for her updates on the situation. The first 3 eps of this drama reminded me of that night, how he asked for help on that website and it spread quickly and everyone was talking about it - that was just what happened here in my town and that app.
I'm so excited for this drama!! I have kind of avoided Lee Min Ho so far, mostly because I don't get…
She is not one of my favorites but I think she is really well suited for comedy dramas:)
And also I see no problem with her being paired up with 'younger' guys. I mean, Lee Min Ho is only 6 years younger than her. Shes only 35, she is still in her prime years. Male actors in their 40s are constantly being paired up with actresses in their 20s and no one seems to be bothered by that. But if the woman is as much as 5 years older it's considerad 'noona romance'. I dont get the logic, really.
