I still can’t believe we finally have a full length uncensored cbl 🥲 first 2 eps were great I’m so excited about this drama!!!!

the epilogue made me want to see a high school romance between daon and sunghyeon so bad 😭 also i just know jaemin’s last words to suhyun, telling him he’ll never know the truth about what happened in the past, will probably haunt him forever. will miss this drama a lot 🥲

suhyeon and jaemin both like daon; they actually just agreed to pretend to date in front of daon to keep each other away from him 🥲 it’s messsyyy .. suhyeon and jaemin are both crazy possessive over him. suhyeon was actually really sweet towards daon when they first met, but jaemin didn’t want others to be close to daon, and he is very sly, so he always tries to control all of daon’s relationships .. he’s kind of a supervillain if you ask me 😭

junseo was the perfect choice for daon!! loved ep 1, this drama is definitely not going to disappoint 🤍

I really love how this drama is centred more around the team’s dynamics/relationship(s) with each other instead of being romance heavy. I love the found family trope in cdramas!! Especially in this genre <3

I feel like the release is taking so long because they’re apparently aiming to have it aired on national TV :( I have had such high hopes for this drama because it’s based on my favorite webtoon and I absolutely adore Jiho, so him being cast as Heesu, was like a dream come true but ever since we found out they’re adding a straight storyline for Jiyu/Chanyoung, and since seeing them put Jiyu front and center on the poster, I just feel so nervous. If they’re really doing all of this so they can air it on tvn, it’s just very disheartening and disappointing. We don't need the censorship. The people who care about this story just want to see it portrayed accurately without changes being made to cater to a straight audience. Queer people rarely get wholesome stories like this. I would be really sad if we missed out on a good adaptation, especially since we got so lucky with the cast. I’m gonna hold out hope, but my nerves won’t be put at ease until we see the trailer 🥲 I just don’t want Heesu to be sidelined in his own story for the sake of Jiyu and Chanyoung’s new romantic storyline. I also really hope they won’t make Heesu antagonistic towards Jiyu because she now has feelings for CY… I love their friendship so much. Anyway this is such a long rant, but I’m just so nervous about the direction of this drama. I desperately want to see this webtoon get the adaptation it deserves without feeling like the queerness and heart of the story are being sidelined for the sake of making it more palatable for an audience who don't even care about it. Just wish it could release on streaming without any restrictions.

Sadly the last few episodes felt very rushed which is exactly what I was worried about as we approached the end with so much left to cover and not a lot of time to really delve into 😕 I was really looking forward to seeing Qian grapple with his romantic feelings for Yuan and seeing how he really got to that point of acceptance after everything, especially since their relationship had been built up so well prior, but in the end it felt like he just suddenly became completely accepting of everything without as much distress or struggle as I had imagined he would have experienced in those moments. It felt a little out of character (in my opinion) and definitely felt like a disservice to how well their relationship was built up so well beforehand, to finally get to that point and have it be such a quick development just felt lacklustre. I was initially expecting more drama and passion after Yuan returned from abroad which didn’t happen, then even in the end we didn’t really get that either which just didn’t make a lot of sense to me and felt like such a missed opportunity to really develop their story/their feelings to the fullest. I just think this drama would’ve benefited from compressing some of the early-mid plots to give the later developments more room to breathe or having even just 1-2 more episodes. I also did not enjoy the editing of nc scene it almost felt kind of confusing to follow, still loved the drama as a whole don’t get me wrong! unfortunately it just left me feeling a little disappointed at the end :( I really loved the final scene though, very sweet, and the cast did a phenomenal job throughout the whole series. ♥️
