I still can’t believe how well this short drama was! Yea it has its flaws, yes the ending was rushed like they forgot they have to end it somehow, but the acting? Amazing. The ratio between action and non action scenes, the cinematography was all pretty good when I take into consideration the 15 minutes per episode…. I could binge watch another 60 episodes rn

No, but seriously, the drama has its flaws and issues, mainly the last like 3 episodes. It felt flat and like they forgot that they have to wrap up the story somehow.

But the acting was amazing, soundtrack as well (Paindrop from TripleS will stay in my playlist for a loooong time) and the chemistry? Oh my…
I personally loved the drama, most of the time I had to watch another episode just because I had to know what will happen next and in the end I finished it in one day.
Am I biased because of Hye-ri? Absolutely, no doubt.
Did I enjoyed it? Yes
Would I recommend it to everybody? No… it depends
I think that if the directors gave us proper ending the rating would skyrocket
I believe that if there will be season 2, Hyeri is the right person who can give us and push what we want (hopefully)

From Bai Jing Ting I got the same vibe and feeling as Lee Je Hoon from Taxi Driver and I absolutely loved it.

As a Audience D, I hope there will be spinoff episodes where I’ll see Passerby Pancake as a great general

It’s not an easy watch for sure, but it’s not like traumatizing as some make it look, just really well done psychological thriller.
This drama excels in atmosphere, the unsettling feeling, dark tone and amazing cinematography (as horror movies/series enjoyer I have to say some directors should learn from this)
In addition, the acting was great, I’m big fan of Seo Yea Ji and she did not disappoint, she was outstanding, honestly I can’t wait to see her again in some new projects ㅠㅠ
But I have to say, even the background characters whose names you’ll never learn were portrayed really well.
I can’t say anything bad about this drama, maybe only that it depends on which mood you’re in and if its theme (psychological torture, cults, brainwashing etc) are for you

I should work on how I word my thoughts in the future 😅I think that the bullying wasn’t important part, ML didn’t care from the start (I can understand him), SML had another intention and I must agree on the psychological aspect of it, that’s why I loved his mother as well, she really tried her best to fight her mental illness which is not an easy task at all and I respect herYou “forced” me to think more about it and I’m glad for your perspective 😌 and I know I may look dumb or close minded but I still kinda feel like there was a little identity issue, and least for the 8 eps drama

I think this drama had 2 major drawbacks - first is release time, I mean it’s only half a year a we have third of a kind drama so it’s understandable that people will compare it to the other two..
second (in my opinion) is identity, I’m sorry but how can be first episodes about bullying, next revenge and last episodes about “we’re broken trash”? It has potential, but it seems the production didn’t know what to go for sadly

My favorite episode was, hands down, the last one, because it has some weight and I was curious about how it would end.
I know I sound like I only yap about this, but in the end, it’s not bad, it’s enjoyable but it had potential to be much better honestly

It’s not perfect, actually it’s far from it but (there will be a lot of BUT) it’s one of the reasons why I like it so much. It was stupid and goofy at times but sweet, fluffy and innocent at the same time. Both couples were strong from the start, no love triangles, no completely unnecessary drama etc. There were parts I just wanted to skip (mainly the dorm part) where ML was behaving like 5 years old kid BUT (again) in the end it was important for him to grow and man up. I loved most of the characters (Lu Yang Yang was amazing here) and even The parents of both leads were funny (Yao Yao’s dad was mvp tbh) except the “bad guys” - they were evil just for the sake of being evil, with no true reasoning …
But overall- little hidden gem this was, comedy, OST, characters etc were all decent, in the end I’m glad it’s not flawless, because of it it was more enjoyable for me personally 😌

I had much lower expectations for drama that have 6.8 … but I was surprised in a good way

I think they planned to make like 50 episodes but run out of money and had to film the ending in 10 minutes or so to fit 30s ending
In the end it’s quite hard to rate this drama because of it, I mean the majority was fine, entertaining and ho honestly well done
Yea, nothing spectacular or memorable but that’s not why you watch 10m/eps drama, but regardless it was fun if you just pretend that the last episode didn’t happen

I personally have mixed feelings about this drama, I mean it’s clearly not bad, the acting (Xu Yi Yang did great job), the characters were interesting, CGI and even OST was pretty good, but the story? It was there I guess .. my biggest issue with this is that it has potential to be much bigger and better, I’d like to see the full long version if there would be any. I wouldn’t talk about subtitles but it was nice watch actually, especially for short drama like this.

Honestly? I’ve seen WAY worse with much higher ratings
Don’t get me wrong, it’s not amazing nor great, the plot itself was kinda lacking, but 6.9? It deserves a little bit more.
It’s one of those dramas you kinda forget about, but I had fun actually. As others said it’s good when you have nothing else to watch and if you go through it with 0 expectations and don’t think about it too much you can enjoy it

My biggest complaint about this drama is actually hidden praise - after finishing Rakshasa Street (2017) I was little bit confused watching this series, I don’t know which one is actually cannon but the the thing I like about some dramas - it aspires me to watch/read the original work
Sweet Home, Deaths Game, I’m nobody or even Marry my husband are examples why I like this concept
At this moment I can’t say if it’s good adaptation or not, I quite enjoy it, cast was amazing too
I know it’s 7 years difference but the quality went up

Okay, so at first I thought it was interesting but little bit overrated BUT on the last episode I felt like I was the one who wakes up to reality and left everyone in the Spirealm World
At the end I was just blindly watching outro credits and I was unable to process that it ended.
Even tho I’m not fan of BL/bromance (sorry, not my genre to watch) -even I enjoyed the relationships between characters. I really liked Zao Zao, from being weak and hiding behind to someone who was brave and able to save others.
I didn’t know if I should feel sorry for Ligling for waiting so long to see them again in the World of doors or myself for missing them all already…
