Just Okay

I truly hope it's just a teaser that is lacking and the drama will be outstanding. Though, the editing of the drama teaser makes it look like it's designed solely for the Asian market and areas where people consume lots of k-dramas, as such type of music and editing usually doesn't attract a global viewer. That's where my concern is, they definitely invested money in the project but the promotion is very lacking. Also, if I am a casual viewer browsing the upcoming shows, the poster won't make me click on it. Yes, it's just a teaser but it's not impactful enough yet. We shall see whether it will get better promotion and whether it will be pushed by Netflix in other countries outside of Asia and Latin America.

I had such high expectations from the drama as the premise sounded like it has a potential to become a global hit. Sadly, the teaser is very underwhelming. It looks like a typical low-budget k-drama with cringe humour. They spent a year on editing but it looks cheap, reminds me of the special effects in the drama Chicken Nugget in the worst way. Even the poster is based on the still cuts they released back in February. Music choice doesn't work in their favour and colour correction is lacklustre as well. It seems like the show is doomed to be forgotten considering it will be released right after Stranger Things. Such a pity. Even Netflix Korea doesn't highlight it in their pinned December release post.

The previous still cut with the three of them looked amazing but the current poster somehow looks cheap like it's done for a low-budget drama.

Most likely it's going to be released on 26th December, everything leads to it. As 19th is already reserved for The Great Flood and they release original Korean movies/dramas only on Friday. Netflix Tudum already confirmed Cashero will be released in 2025, so 26th is the only available date for the show.
