Really?! Perfect! I'll watch it then
LOL no worries I am on the fence about whether to watch either due to some stuff that Cnetz explained about the original novel

ML & FL are so grey that they are muddy. I don't like either one of them.

he's so underrated 🤧 i want a fluffy romcom with a happy ending, with him as the main lead and he has the face…
YES! Something like Meow the Secret Boy, but with him being the ML

The character setting of ML is interesting. But tbh someone who has sharp intellect normally won't pursues stability…
This is a gross oversimplification. I know so many colleagues in the Law field/high paying jobs in general who have been in competition all their life from their early school years, and they quickly lose that spark to always 'level up.' They continue for economic stability or social survival. The ones who still do, until their late years, constantly crave mobility and are overly ambitious, are the dangerous ones.

K-directors ALWAYS pairing one the BEST Namkoong Min of the BEST with actress with low self but adapt arrogant…
??? Is this referring to Jeon Yeo Been? I'm not even a fan of her but even I know some throwaway facts, she's been in numerous movies since 2016 and had notable acting chops in shows like Save Me (2017) and Be Melodramatic, before she ever played in Vincenzo. She's been a hardworking supporting actress for years, and a main lead in movies, with no scandals. "same routine facial expressions?" "connections for elevation"? "arrogant rude attitudes"? Don't tell me you are on a drama site ranting and raving without doing your homework? Hm.

Now now, and how do you know that those comments are from Zhao Lusi fans? You’re so sure about it, but there’s…
Ma'am. Please take the pseudo-intellect you're trying to fling at me and throw it in the trash instead. If someone around you makes you look bad by association, over and over again, speak on it. That's common sense people learn in grade school, and Zhao Lusi's team have been caught being shady on purpose in the past because of that. When it came to Esther's dramas as well it's obvious Lusi's fans went out of their way to bully her before vice-versa happened. I have no dog in this fight because I find both actresses adorable, but I just decided to pass by 3 MONTHS AGO to make my observation due to being an ex -Lusi stan. You can cry all you want and judge me yadda yadda but you're the one being defensive and emotional over a calm conversation that happened between ME AND SOMEONE ELSE months ago. Take your virtue signaling somewhere else, because all this ranting you're doing makes you look really pathetic.

"if A FAmIlY MeMbEr iS a MuRdErer I gUeSs uR tHe oNe who jUdGes a FamiLY.." ? What?! What a weirdo putting words in my mouth just to win off a strawman and random ethical superiority. I would NEVER do something like that, and the analogies I made don't insinute such nonsense either.

You obviously don't understand what I say when I mean take accountability or reign in fans, so I'm not going to reply in detail to the rest of the pseudo-intellectual analogy you gave....with more analogies.

When companies go out of hand and make mistakes, CEO's apologize/speak up.

When a political administration has deep-rooted corruption, the head/president/director speaks up.

When a sibling does something and embarrasses the family the parents or other family members apologize.

When something gets big, is obvious, trending on hot searches, brought up to you in interviews, and it becomes what you're known for, people (actress, influencer, or otherwise) speak up.

THAT'S the real reason XZ was starting to sour in people's minds at first after the AO3 incident and really when he became more famous.(this was mostly a Chinese issue, Intl. fans may not fully know) But when he took a stand and spoke up, fans and antifans knew responsibility was on them.

Washing your hands of aggressive, chaotic, and bad behaviour is never too much of an expectation at any level. Stars are just as much power players as they are victims. When a fandom en masse pushes in a direction, instead of the team or actress reveling in its size and letting them go feral no matter what, they should distance themselves from certain things. It's obvious when some things are being encouraged.

That is my thought and why I always have respect for stars who speak up no matter what when they see behavior from fans they dislike, rather than capitalize on their fandoms size. That's just me tho

Honestly, this wasn't my favorite and it was really hard finishing the last 10 episodes. I think all the characters…
Agreed
Lily Alice Dec 11, 2024
The name is so cringe I', actually pissed off for them. "Newtopia"? Really? After Concrete Utopia came out last year? Also, even add new to the word Utopia...what is the point of that...

I'm being truly asinine I know. Anyway, good luck to Jisoo and all cast members. Maybe this will be her big break so she works hard and people can stop harping about her acting.

A couple years ago, around 2019 when Lusi was just beginning to blow up(and I was, uh, kinda obsessed with her), I could already notice the type of fans she was attracting, especially her team on Weibo and how they market her in certain ways.

I think, without a doubt, Esther is known more as an "idol" and not respected as much for acting chops compared to Zhao Lusi, but the way she became enemy #1 just because her drama aired alongside Lusi is CRAZY. I won't even get into the subtle shade between these girls' fans with LBFAD vs LLTG in 2021...

It's really sad honestly. I removed myself from her fandom etc. and pointed out some of her agency/branding flaws, but it's clear the difference in how they behave especially when comparing her with other actresses. (https://kisskh.at/article/dream-drama-pairings-chinese-version#comment-13933403)

So disappointing that Intl. fans and obsessed fans on Weibo make enemies out of actresses and become micro-anxious over popularity rankings and branding. I can't even watch/will watch either of their recent dramas because show discourse just reeks of these comparisons. I can only hope that Zhao Lusi can learn to do what Xiao Zhan has been doing and mellow the new fanbase over time.
