LOLOLOL now that I think about it, you're right. I dropped that one after 5 or so eps, it came off as too corny to me. Or maybe just I didn't get the humor? I felt like Ancient Detectove and Mysterious Lotus Casebook had the better balanced vibe Blood of Youth could have gone for

Glorious list, you truly said it all. All of these are bangers. I wish I could watch all of these and Joy of Life all over again without any memory of them
*LITERALLY EXPLODES* I checked randomly and it's really here! After 5 years! Someone told me yesterday and I thought they were trolling. This is unbelieveable!!!
I thought this would be a strong kingmaker series, with a Reborn Rich flavor given to us by a younger cast. The dual ML situation with a strong female lead in the midst gave me hope. I was shouting for joy at the poster unravel. But along the line... what happened? It's starting to appear more like a romance-revenge driven makjang. As for the FL, before I watched this show I thought the hate was excessive and came from closeted BL-fanatics that just hate FL leads in general, and secretly want the MLs to be together (I've been in Asian dramaland for a while...truth is stranger than fiction)
But wow...her character is so... bad? And not Jenny Humphrey(Gossip Girl) or Lindsay Lohan's character in Mean Girls bad. I've seen vengeful poor girls who do bad things to secure themselves and move up their class, most recently Sumin in Marry My Husband. And don't get me started on all the older Historical Cdramas I've watched. But no matter how much you hate the way they act or what they do, the BUILDUP of their character, and their dynamics with others in the story, their importance to the plot, makes them endearing. But not this character. Her motives, reasoning, back story, and past are so watered down to make her appear MyStErIOuS and mOtIvAtEd but she just gives you dead fish.
I'm thoroughly disappointed. Especiallyin the direction they started taking Taeho and Inha's characters. They should have marketed this into a romance/corporate makjang instead of noir. The audacity. I know it has "just begun", but for me the drama missed the mark on what it promised and there's no going back from this.
Eh this OST takes a massive dump on most modern Chinese costume dramas, quite frankly. Far more evocative, a lot…
Which drama? Nirvana in Fire? There should be the original Nirvana in Fire drama, without the horrendous English dubbing, on Viki. Initially they only had the dubbed version, but many viewers boycotted. It is also now on YT with its original subs, and voices in the Mandarin-Chinese language. Or atleast, that's how it was a couple of years ago, when I watched it and re-watched it during the COVID aftermath
Oh please don't project your own moral playground nonsense onto me. None of this is deep enough to delve into morality and ethics, and not once did I imply such nonsense.
As for showing off my "language"..? Are you seriously trying to force your own perceptions of how someone should type out English onto me? Do you think this is some sort of contest? Your insecurities are not my problem, nor are they my fault. I will not change the way I speak to appease an irrational fan that launches into insults and semantics over a neutral post I made online. Have the day you deserve.
Honestly, I'll just give them the benefit of the doubt. I can't wrap my head around someone being that verbally aggressive over a neutral stance on the trajectory of an actor's career. Maybe they just had a bad day.

I'm so excited. I hope it's as entertaining and mysterious as the anime / donghua(DAMMIT CHINA WHERE'S S2?!!!)
