So far, so good, and I can’t wait to see how it unfolds in the upcoming episodes.
It has just the right amount of everything I look for in this genre of K-drama, from humor to thriller & intense emotions of the witty FL. The director made the experience even better.
to be honest ...and you can disagree lol but I think he knows his feelings bc he's very thoughtful and clearly…
Along with your first sentence, It's similar to how I felt about his face/eyes/gaze/words/actions & all. He is definitely aware. Rest is more or less the same in my opinion too.
In addition, I have a theory of him actually remembering her from 5 years ago. When she confessed at ep. 5, she said that she had passed the 1st audition, and if it wasn't for her illness, she would be attending the 2nd audition for his previous movie, where Chae Seo Yeong got the role. In other words, it would be Daum who would be in place of Chae Seo Yeong.
As this is being said, I believe Jeha remembers Daum from back then. So maybe his feelings started to grow right from this time when he met her again. He also talks
Does the director look sick too, or is it just me? I have the impression that he too has health problems. This…
I read the synopsis before while watching ep 2. It says they both have their own illnesses in between the lines, so it is also possible for him to have his mother's illness or another illness. We'll see about it.
It was cinematic and beautiful. Not anything more than that. Though I think this one-on impulse of Daeum will…
Think of how Chae Seoyoung has kissed him, but he did push her, but with DE he kissed her back. I think it was meant to show the contrast between his response to both of these kisses.
It's now mostly evident that through this puzzle concept, our vigilante serial killer reflects the belief that the system and law failed him/them, so he takes charge and brings justice by revealing the wrongdoing of these people one by one.
It’s a familiar trope, but the writer is brilliant for using the puzzle theme—where each piece not only contributes to the bigger picture but also carries crucial details that deepen the story. Except for some little details mentioned in the comments down this section, it's a well-written script.
1: Heart-fluttering Dowon-OIY moments had us giggling until the end. Though it took Dowon a long time to take action, once he gained momentum, his actions spoke louder than words. 🫠🫶🏻
2: The Sabi and Um Jay couple had been hinted at in previous episodes, and it finally came together with that dance at the end. Their ending fairy moment and synchronicity were spot on. Plus, as far as I interpreted, back when he watched her taxi drive the way he looked wasn’t just a ‘Wow, she’s a fan’ kind of look, but more like ‘She’s a fan… and maybe soon my girlfriend.’ 😅
3: The way our annoying villain hit her head on the sliding door at the end, after everything she pulled this episode and throughout the whole drama, felt like sweet karma. Hope there is more to come, as this isn't enough for us to feel she got what she deserved . 😈
Don't sleep on this drama and unique chemistry of the main leads. Their love is more tender and emotional.
I get why some think the skinship feels shorter compared to their previous drama. Maybe that’s due to the director’s approach. But honestly, it keeps getting better. I’ve already watched up to episodes 15–16 on WeTV, and after the dream kiss, even if the moments are brief, the emotional longing is so strong.
ps: It’s underrated, especially since many in Mainland China compare it to Embrace in the Dark. But to me, that’s like comparing apples and pears. These are two different kinds of love stories, and the intimacy in each reflects the distinct emotional tone the screenwriter intended to tell.
so *clears throat* they have the house to themselves in the next episodes?😏
There is a possibility that their (Fl and her sister's father) will be coming; I suppose it will be some time around. They said it in ep 8; I think it might be him catching these two together but more on the comedy side. We'll see but writer makes us think one thing and does other way around hehe
The romance part in this show is just so well written....and acted out and don't get me started on the chemistry....the…
Episode 9 will probably be where things start to get heated. It seems he's one step away from confession, and tension is getting more romantic. I'm not ready to let these two go for a while. It's the first slow romance drama to make me watch each episode 2-3 times already.
i thought they would be it but looks like they are bringing in the intern
I think it was like he comes at moments like this. It was not for the purpose of romance but more as humor. There will be another romance between the four; let's wait and see in the remaining episode. The actress playing Sabi gave a spoiler, telling that there is someone that has a long-term crush on someone; it's one of Jae Il, Nam Kyung, OIY, and Sabi.
OMG she and guy feom Embrace in the dark night. Woow! 😍💥🙀
Previously, these two played in another drama called Always Have, Always Will. He was the supporting role; now they have their own drama released years after
Why are people calling the anesthesiologist SML when he’s been here for two seconds?
Not SML however, he appeared for more than 2 seconds, not enough for him to become SML but the director put him in like he was hinting that at some point he has some connection with her. He is likely to create a turning point for Dowon to act more openly before it's too late and confess his feelings to OIY.
It's more like a wake-up call for Dowon, but not for the first reason that comes to most of the minds. But here, the anesthesiologist guy here made a move without a second thought and had taken his shot. But Dowon got one step behind due to his man-of-order nature. Starting from now on, he'll understand that he needs to do something before OIY before this guy pursues her. I also believe, even before she fell for Dowon, he had suppressed feelings towards her.
I suppose in the 8th episode this will accelerate him, and I wait for some kind of confession from Dowon at the end of ep 8 in a way that leaves us wondering what to come in the next episode.
Whats makes you all think Do won hadn't started realising how he feels..inviting her for dinner... smiling happily…
Totally, I agree with the first sentence you wrote. He, I suppose, had already had feelings, maybe even way before she confessed to him. He seems to have repressed his feelings for a long time, but her reciprocating made him open up.
This love triangle is more exciting and cuter than I expected it to be. It was like the moment they hugged for the first time to the second in ER, then at the end, him being one step late at then end was like a wake-up call to Dowon, a new emotion was unlocked for him. As far as I understood from the preview, maybe at first he'll distance himself, but at the end of the 8th ep, I wait for a twist like we got in this ep (him not catching his flight, & so on)
lmao the first time i saw that guy i knew something was coming up 😭 he’s too handsome for him to be a an…
Yeah I got you, same here.
PS: He was even in the scene where Dowon put food on OIY's platter—he was sitting behind them with a colleague. That was when I thought the director had him face the camera deliberately, and it was the first hint that made me think he might develop feelings for her later.

Another highlight was seeing both Pyo Nam Kyung and OIY, as well as Prof. Seo and Kong, go from bickering to becoming a team.
