They used the quotes from Bible about Love. Any and all love. Hope this helps.
If only it was about that, but I'm sure the relationship will not be platonic in the TV series, it shows in the trailer, so it's not just about love, that's the thing.

honestly, both of these guilty pleasure tropes of mine LOL. and to be fair, at least for women disguising themselves…
No, but I own them, They are from an artist you can find on various social media under the name "@doodilight". ;)

What a load of crap just from the trailer. We can wait to get an smart BL drama about religion and homosexuality.
Putting citations of the Bible totally out of context to support a narrative is really despicable. It's really insulting.
And it just shows how far the people doing this are from the Catholic faith. They don't know or understand it at all.
You can be catholic and homosexual, but trying to use the Bible to justify homosexuality is a total nonsense.

I submitted the creation of his page two weeks ago, a much more detailed description than what we got here (even his details like his real name or is birthday are not indicated here... seriously !), but no, my edit was totally ignored and, as always, MDL staff just accepted any lame edit that isn't even complete or accurate. This website is really becoming a joke compared to a few years ago. That's very disappointing.

Anyway, looking forward to his acting debut.

After reading there were four different directors for this drama I understood why I felt like some episodes were really different from the others, and why the quality seemed inconsistent to me.

It's not a bad drama, I enjoyed watching most of it, but the inconsistency I pointed out just before bugged me a little, and I thought it was overall quite cliché, the characters and story development, everything was mostly predictable. Considering the hype I saw around it I expected something more original. There is some depth in it, and Nam Yoon Su did a good job overall, but I guess it's not my type of story.

Thank you, i have been wanting to see the trailer for this. I am just hoping it doesn't turn out like the other…
Yes, I understand you, I had the same thoughts, and unfortunately I'm not very optimistic for this one neither.

It's interesting but I think it isn't a very good "drama special" episode. The subject deserves a proper drama format to be well told in my opinion, here it's too rushed, the childhood and friendship relationship are not used very well and deepened enough, and they made it overly sentimental for me.
I think Nam Da Reum did a good job, but Tang Jun Sang wasn't fit for this role. I liked him in other dramas, but here is acting was quite bad.

I can understand that it appeals to some people, and the historical accuracy of the phenomenon isn't the problem for that indeed, even for men transvestite as women. But as you pointed it, it's totally unrealistic the way it is done in films or TV series in general, because they don't want to totally give up the feminine traits of the actresses for the purpose of the characters, that's why it's one of the tropes I really hate the most in historical productions.

If it was done toroughly and in a good way in any sageuk I would love it actually, but I doubt it will happen some day with Korean actors.

This!!! I miss the well-written sageuk dramas with really good actors and beautiful stories but lately we keep…
For sure there is a big lack of originality when it comes to sageuk stories the last few years.

The whole premise looks like pure nonsense. As a history student I will watch it just to take notes on the non-realistic…
Well, it's rare to find a sageuk that is truly realistic anyway. For this one I still can't tell when, during Joseon Dynasty, it is supposed to takes place exactly.

I noticed this too. The series is over and not a single IG post was made. I don't follow their account, but I…
I'm really disappointed by YNK. They totally failed him on this one. And it was his first drama so there is no turning back now.

There was nothing, anywhere, from them during the airing and after the drama ended. Sun did such a good job for his first role on screen but they totally missed and ruined this moment by doing absolutely nothing. I'm really sorry for him.

As a rookie actor he needs all the exposure he can during a time like this, especially with all the competition. Heavenly, the production company, was the only one promoting the drama in the end.

I really don't understand. Especially because they did something when he was attending a film festival with director Hwang Da Seul and his co-stars Kim Nu Rim and Jang Yeon Woo last summer, when he wasn't known yet, so that doesn't make sense that they totally ignored the drama after. And also because in the same time they did promote the other actors they manage, even one that, objectively, will never get main roles...

I also hope he receives better management and promotion next, but in any case this moment is lost, so that really makes me angry because Sun as a great talent and a big potential, I'm sure he can have an interesting career as an actor.

Such a boring and reheated plot for a sageuk. A prince that hides his identity as a commoner, a cross-dressing female character (they really don't want to give up with that unrealistic and stupid trope...). That's disappointing, but I guess some people like this kind of cliché stories where evertything is predictable.

I hope that the fact that he hasn't been active anywhere in the last couple of months is the sign that he is working on a new project. We definitely need to see him again in more dramas or movies.

Post reported for slander and defamation, which can be subject to legal action too.
Freedom of expression is a fundamental right, within the limits of respect for the moral integrity of individuals, so there is a difference between expressing an opinion and slander or defamation that are criminal offenses.

You can dislike whoever you want for whatever reasons you want too, but publicly slandering someone as being homophobic just because he removed some posts about a flop drama from a social media is slander. You have no evidence of what you claim, it is just your interpretation of some random facts that can, and are, interpreted very differently by other people.

So don't play the victim card. Nobody says you can't have and express your personal opinion. Just that you cannot just write anything you want when it comes to slandering someone.

I agree. I have complained about this several times. I have almost missed out on some really good dramas because…
I understand, if I only saw that trailer and didn't know better about the drama, I would maybe not want to watch it at all, which would be a big miss unfortunately.
But I think their strategy is the opposite, because people like us are a minority.
The era of long, epic and serious sageuk is long gone, the costs of production are too big now compared to what they used to earn with it before, and I think the genre is less appealing for the mass now. So by doing that, I guess they hope people will think it's a light rom-com story and give it a try and even if it's not what they expected, maybe they will be hooked by the quality of the drama.
