Some of Ji Chan Wook’s last projects have not done his acting chops any justice! I am sensing that his FL pairing…
Get him back on track you wrote. Hum. He wouldn't receive any offer and get paid so much if his projects were failure... Again, the way this comment is written is wrong. State your personal opinion, it's about your tastes, these aren't facts or absolute truth.
I don't think this is quite true at all. I think I've read quite a lot of the negative sentiment and, frankly,…
I understand your opinion but the same comments over and over since his military service won't change anything I believe. You liked him only in action dramas and don't like his recent choices or haven't even watch most of them, so maybe just move from him. It's been five years already. I don't question your opinion, it's all about preferences and likes, but a true fan will watch all the projects of an actor and then have an opinion about them. It's like saying you're a fan of a rock singer, heard that he did a pop album, and judging it's bad without even listening to it... I really don't understand the need to repetitively comment the same things every time there is an article about him.
where in this thread did anyone hate on him? where? people mentioned that the dramas sucked, the plots of the…
Well, the word "hate" is too strong in my opinion, and Ji Chang Wook's popularity and success aren't in danger (otherwise he wouldn't receive offers anymore and wouldn't be paid so much as an actor), but it's true that it is really annoying to see the same concert of "He is better in action dramas", "Nothing good since his military service", "Always picks bad scripts/dramas", by few people, every time there is an article about him. I personally don't go writing comments about actors I dislike, or dramas, I just ignore them. So I don't get the need some people have to repetitively express bad thoughts about someone or projects. But I don't really mind it either, debate is interesting if it's argumentative. But what I really don't understand is why people get angry about other people defending these actors or dramas after their comments. In both cases, the cons and the pros, they are defending their opinions. If you criticise, you need to accept that other don't think the same and will confront your opinion, especially when it comes to actors and dramas others like. Nobody can pretend having a superior opinion here. It's only about preferences and likes. I'm a big fan of Ji Chang Wook, so I like almost all his projects, but I don't pretend they are all flawless masterpieces and cannot be criticised. It can be discussed. However, I don't get people who just go telling that everything he has done since "Suspicious partner", or even "Healer" in some cases, is garbage. It's five dramas and two movies since 2017. It might not be to one's liking, but all these projects can objectively said being successful. Otherwise the poor Ji Chang Wook would be jobless so far. That's probably why Ji Chang Wook's fans defend him so fiercely I guess, because these negative opinions are kind of too much over the years. The way most people write their comments here is also the problem. They state their opinions like they are the universal truth. Of course people will react. If you take the time to express a personal opinion using the right words people will understand better and exchange opinions more peacefully.
Always happy to hear about our Ji Chang Wook's new projects, I hope it will be confirmed. And with Shin Hye Sun, what a great pairing ! The plot is quite intriguing too, very interesting, but I'm not sure what kind of story it will really be. The director is great so I hope the writer is good too.
This year will be the 10 years anniversary of "Empress Ki" and I still rewatch it without being bored. A true classic ! A photo book would be so great to celebrate this amazing drama.
i don't think this drama is meant to be realistic since it's literally about demons
Yes that's true (even so demons and possession are considered real by a lot of believers of many religions), and I don't mind it being unrealistic as it is a fantasy story. I never expected the character to be a "normal" exorcist, but this one I find him very ridiculous.
Maybe because the point of the character isn't catholic priest rep but just a fun UNIQUE not-like-other-priests…
It's not because you have a different opinion that you can be disrespectful to others. I don't see the point to debate or dialogue if you feel like it's necessary to insult others when they think differently than you. Be careful of what you write.
One more stupid and disappointing representation of Catholic priests in a Korean production. I don't know if it's the same in the webtoon but they should stop doing that. It's a relief that there are movies like "A Birth" to compensate that.
Not very excited by the trailer for the moment unfortunately. I'm not a fan of the new trend in sageuk, where they mix heavy comedy with a serious, even dark, story, but I hope it will still be interesting. And Woo Do Hwan and Bona seems to have a good chemistry in this one from just the trailer.
Episode 4 is totally on another level for me. This couple deserves its own full series seriously, and I hope both Kominami Koji and Uemura Souta will get more roles in the future because they are really good actors.
A true masterpiece. Whatever the end might be next week (even so I wish the best one possible), it will definitely be one of my favourite dramas of all time. Kawaguchi Haruna and Meguro Ren impress me so much with their perfect portrayals of Tsumugi and Sou. And all the cast is really on top.
Seriously?! You´re totally missing the point of this series if you don´t buy into its craziness. From the get…
Stop copy/past the same message to people who just don't write that it's a super funny and good drama. People can have different tastes and feelings and express it. The way you try to lecture people is very annoying. People like you here seriously need to stop telling other to stop watching something just because they write a negative comment. You can share your opinion and debate, but don't force yours on others and tell others what to think or do.
From the first two episodes, worst sageuk I have seen recently. Definitely not the kind of sageuk I like to watch. However, overall, the production (costumes, sets, landscapes, music) is good.
Just because you are a pervert and like to watch segs in TV that doesn’t mean other people are prude
Why are you insulting me? You should open a dictionary before using and interpreting words your own way. Prude: a person who is easily shocked by rude things, especially those of a sexual type. It totally correspond of the comments here about the nudity and sex in this drama. That's just an observation. On the contrary, pervert: a person whose sexual behaviour is considered strange and unpleasant by most people. That's just defamation from you against me. You should use your brain before insulting people just because you feel offended by a comment.
