Yes, I saw that many people here kind of share the opinion that his character is annoying and useless, but that's totally at the opposite of what I personally feel. ^^
For me, that rom-com would have been just like "Forecasting Love and Weather" (saved by Yoon Park) if his character was not like this.
I find Go Kyung Pyo's acting very boring. I'm totally insensitive to his qualities and skills, so for me Kim Jae Young is saving this drama. Yes, his character is expected to be annoying, but unlike usually with other dramas, I am happy he is here, because otherwise I would be very bored I think.

Kim Jae Young is amazing. Too bad Kang Hae Jin is the third wheel in this romance, I like this character. Him and Choi Sang Eun would make a great couple. Not a fan of Go Kyung Pyo so I'm not rooting for his character with Choi Sang Eun, but Park Min Young is still the queen of rom-com. It's been a while since I really enjoyed one.

And the title changed again, and again it's a total failure. Why can't they just keep the original title just translated...

There are some actors pairing that are really dream duos. Ji Chang Wook and Wi Ha Jun is definitely one of them. And the characters they will play, as well as the rest as the already known cast, look very interesting and new for both of them. A long wait before we can enjoy this promising story. Patience, patience. ^^

I can't wait to watch this movie. Japanese are really the only ones who could think of such a movie. And the trailer is so good.

I don't interpret that scene the same way as you. You are not the director of this drama so what you think has no objective value for me.

I understood what you meant, but that's not how I see it. For me Eiji didn't convinced himself that he was in love with Mieko. He just kind of accepted the situation and was happy to be a father. Mieko is the mother of his daughter, of course he must have feelings for her. The same way as he had feelings for her before too when they were just friends. There are many different feelings. But I don't saw him being convinced that he was in love with her at any moment.

That's not the way I see that scene. For me he wasn't trying to convince Mieko or himself that he was in love with her.

Oh no, I do it of course, a lot of times actually, but not here, and not for things I watch actually. I do that only for books I read. I don't know why but movies and TV series don't really make me think to "what could come after", only written stories do that.

Well, maybe. ^^ But I don't make theories on what could happen in their future, it's just a fictional story, I only focus on the story told to us.

Yes in the end they are together, they are married and raising their daughter together, but it's a marriage of convenience, they are not in love with each other. Mieko was never interested in men, she just wanted a family because of her own childhood trauma. And it's not that Eiji liked Mieko romantically, but that because she was bearing his child, he was more considerate and focus on her and Makio felt left out and betrayed by the lie on the paternity.
For me it's obvious that with the last scene of Eiji, it's shown that even if he is happy to be a father, he is still totally heartbroken by the lost of Makio.

Not really, it's more complex than that. Eiji never rejected what he is nor pretended to be in love with Mieko. Despite Eiji's dad opposition to their relationship, Eiji and Makio were still together after three years, but Mieko (for her own reasons) suggested to bear their child, thinking it would make Eiji's father accept the whole situation. Both Eiji and Makio accepted, and then everything fell apart of course, because it was a big mistake and it ruined their relationship as Eiji and Mieko betrayed Makio, he run away, etc. But yes, in the end, Makio kind of moved on with his life even if he still have feelings for Eiji, and Eiji his heartbroken and stuck in his "normal" life.

Eiji's dad is more complex as a character than just an homophobic dad. If he was just that, he would not have accepted that Eiji and Makio were together at all or that they live together for three years nor wouldn't have speak to Makio. That's way to simple and wrong to just label him as homophobic.

Well, the three characters did that big mess together, but, in the end, Eiji is the real miserable one and the only one I feel sorry for.
Yes, Makio felt very betrayed by Eiji and Mieko, but because he ran away, he could move on with his life slowly and even if he still have some kind of lingering feelings for Eiji, he can be sincerely open to someone else, and he is happy to reconnect with his best friend and their child.
Mieko, who was never interested in men, has what she wanted basically, and even if loosing Makio was hard, they reconnected in the end.
But Eiji did all the wrong choices and will have to live with it. Yes, he is happy to be a father, but Makio is the one he wanted to life his life and have a family with. So he will have to keep living is "normal" life but forever heartbroken to have lost his true love and unable to move on because he has his family and social "duties" to take care of.
It's objectively a well done drama with great production, amazing actors, but that story isn't really fulfilling, on the contrary, it's full a frustration and deception.

In episode 2, when In Kyung eat at his place with his grandfather, Jong Ho says he took time off school because of an herniated disc. I don't know if it's suspicious or just a bland backstory for the character. ^^

I really like it when I'm not totally convinced by the start of a show but it keeps becoming better and more interesting. I hope this one will be like this until the end.

Based on your comments, it's always Eiji the "bad guy" in this story, and Makio looks like an angel and a victim the way you describe him.
Eiji and Mieko are as complex as Makio. The three characters are problematic, and equally responsible for what happened in this story.
But in the end, it's objectively true that Makio is an "emotional slacker", as much true as Eiji being a coward who can't stand for what he really want and Mekio being twisted and manipulative.

From his last interview for 1st Look:
"I want to be a cool actor with my own personality. There was a time when I worried about becoming a successful actor. But now I know. ‘Time is on my side’. I just want to take it step by step. So I will eventually become a good person and ultimately a good actor."
And that's why we love him. :)
