Just a few days ago, on Tian Xu Ning’s birthday of all days, some deranged people showed up with microphones, hurling insults at him. And now this? It’s getting out of hand. What’s even more disturbing is the lack of response from the authorities. Doesn’t China have any system or organization in place to protect actors/actresses from this kind of harassment? It’s like the industry is just letting these lunatics run wild.

Just because a BL comes from China doesn’t automatically make it good. In the past, we’ve had some really weak ones like The Ambiguous Focus, Swinging Blossom, Mermaid’s Jade, and Have a Good Night (these are the ones i can remember).
Anything from 8 is good for me. The reason I don’t pay too much attention to the directing of ABO desire is because Nong Jian wore too many hats, she was the general producer, chief planner, music director, screenwriter, and director. LOL.
Hopefully in her next project she’ll trust someone else with the directing. As for the pacing, it actually matches the flow of the novel perfectly.
