Newbies need to know that Omegaverse is super broad and different authors add their own flavor. It’s flexible, so each story can feel totally different while still fitting in the Omegaverse.

It’s unfortunate that some people don’t realize just how broad omegaverse. They end up spreading misinformation, thinking they know more than they actually do. It can be frustrating when people speak on things without fully understanding them.

A lot of BL fans seem to have started their journey with Thai BL series. For some fans, Chinese BL doesn’t quite live up to the hype, while others view it as a rival to Thai BL. Take Revenged Love, for example it has an 8.5 rating despite being a global hit.
Because of how biased ratings can be on MDL, i’ve stopped using them as a guide when choosing which series to watch.
Honestly, i feel like only OatBoat or PayuRain can truly pull off an Thai BL Omegaverse NC scene and deliver it perfectly.
So far, the best NC scenes in a BL this year for me have been from Season of Love in Shimane, My Stubborn, and The Bangkok Boy. And i just know Knot won’t let us down.
The butterflies all of them gave me could fill up 20 football stadiums no exaggeration!

As a devoted BL fan, my only real disappointment with ABO Desire was the directing and the absence of more intimate scenes.
Any Chinese BL fan expecting an explicit Omegaverse series from China are funny because the censorship laws make that impossible. (IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW) Comparing an omegaverse Chinese BL to omegaverse Thai BL isn’t fair, if you are not bias because one operates under strict censorship while the other doesn’t.
I believe your frustration with ABO Desire actually comes from the fact that the second couple didn’t get a satisfying ending.
My prayer is that the acting, directing and story line do not disappoint (I know it is going to be good). And i really hope we have only one couple and no second couple...
