This drama can't focus on romance bc she is a minor. This won't pass censorship if they had any extreme one. So the romance will minimal is known to all.
Please don't act like you know everything about the script when it's an original one nd your source is also questionable . None will ever know whether the first script had more romance in it or not as the script will be affected because of her age. Most dramas which doesn't focus on romance have plenty of romance.
There's many capable actresses out her who can act in this role. Aimi is not suitable to play a married woman while she is under 18 as I trust it might have effect in her mental growth. The age gap is also big no. She also looks like a child.

I have already read that. My simple ans _ Aimi doesn't have any representative main role in any drama to prove herself. So it's impossible for the producer to approach her for this role. So my opinion will remain unchanged.. Romance is not the main focus on max costume script. Her appearance will also minimize the romance greatly bc of her age.
I already know the drama will be great nd unique as it's an iqiyi home made drama. I am looking forward to it..
Personally I really like aimi but she's still a minor despite all of our opinion. Waiting for 1 more year for her debut as a main role would decrease the negative public opinion about this drama...

The chinese audience is totally okay with this concept as the age of consent is 14. I will also watch the drama as I won't ignore the hard work of everyone just because of one person. It would be risky for the production team to select both newbies in the same drama for which you won't see that in any high budget drama. My cmnt didn't mention anything about their actual talent. Aimi is a good actress but she wasn't chosen because of her talent, but because of her company fighting for the fl role to gain popularity quickly nd iqiyi who just wanted to promote new 05 flower.. for example for the past few years, tencent is only promoting their newbie princes, they are shoving them into every lead or popular drama not bcs of their talent, the actors have big connections for which talented actors are not getting any opportunity working with tencent. Afterall everything is about connections nd money...

If both of the leads are too young they wont be able to carry a drama and the higher ups wont let an inexperienced group leads a high budget drama.
It's true that to make the young actresses popular the companies particularly target the experienced popular actors with bigger fandom. These actors are the true victims as the stupid public will only throw their rage towards them once the drama comes to light. Even now there's many in the cmnt section who are secretly shading them to the fullest. Sometimes it comes to my mind why the companies can't wait for 2 more years before pushing the underage actresses...why do they have to make them popular in the cost of ruining other's image...

It's not the first case in chinese history to pair up young actresses with older actors.
Few months ago HYTT,17 acted along with LYR,28 in Ice Lake... Decades ago LYF,16 acted along with Jimmy,29 in a romantic movie. The age gap is 13
So the industy is rotten from 2000. It can't be changed. Companies of those young actresses are impatient nd also pushing them into lead roles by any means...

I noticed Hou Minghao called Seven as SONGYUN instead of calling her Songyun Jie in the recent iqiyi festival. Seven also called him HOU'er. They seem to have good friendship despite the age difference... But when will the drama release?

In my views, the criticism should have appeared right from the start when she was put in this genre at the age of 13. Her mindset has already brainwashed by the industry. That's why she is appearing here as the FL. So being 17 as a minor or 18 as an adult doesn't matter anymore. 1year difference is not a big deal. Everyone should have correct this from the beginning-MJTY.
That's how things should have turned out for Aimi, HYTT, Deng Enxi. They are so young but have plenty of those roles in their experience list. It's pathetic.
