Release Statistics from KOFIC (Korean Film Council) as of 3/1/18, 8th day since release.
Sales: approx. 40M won ($37k USD) with approx. 4800 tickets sold.
The current climate in Korea, I wonder how hard it is to walk into a theater to see this. Maybe that accounts for the low ticket sales? I hope it does better internationally. This makes it hard for a studio to justify spending resources to make LGBT media.
FWIW: I'll support this production buy purchasing it when it's released. We all want more LGBT K-Dramas!
Hrm, I never considered that something could develop between Joke and Panghom. That look she had when he was touching her hair...
It was nice to see Jatjen and Pang interact together alone without all the friends and family around, going on that date. Really gives you the feeling of their enduring friendship and love.
2.99/mo with PayPal? Done. Set it and forget it. :O) Thanks for all the hard work. This is my go-to website for all things Asian. Hope you add other Asian countries too--lots of good stuff coming out of Vietnam right now.
I love Joke's character, he's so funny!! I have to admit that the great aunt really annoys me though..
Coming from a non-Asian background, she is intolerable. No way I would put up with her crap.
But...I spoke with some of my Asian friends and they said it's common. So I can only hope she will learn to chill out. I'd hate to see her be like this for the next 50 episodes.
wow, episode 1 and already the first kiss of the series was a BL kiss. I've only been in Japanese class for about 5 months so I can't translate this yet. heh. They talk SO FAST. I got a Japanese friend but he's so busy he doesn't have time to translate. :O(
Am I the only one who thinks that they have not yet closed the possibility of Jatjang being together with a boy…
I don't see why it would be over. Interestingly, first episode Jang went through 10 girlfriends and his heart didn't dokidoki for any of them yet. I think him and Joke would be cute though, heh heh.
They brought up an important point in ep 6, having sex with someone doesn't determine your sexuality. It makes…
I always thought of bisexuality as a preference, not an ability. The guy said he was bisexual because he had a girlfriend and they had sex. But he definitely made it clear it was not a preference. I'd imagine it could work the other way around: a straight guy could have sex with another guy even though it's not his preference.
At any rate, its fun watching these three guys getting themselves into trouble. haha
