The episodes are way too short. Glad they remade the lost tomb season 1. Hope they remake the rest. I’ll watch any iterations of the iron triangle, my favorite trio.
Damn, Han Li is absolutely gorgeous. I seriously can't stop looking at him. I always thought Yang Yang was handsome…
Same! Always thought he was handsome but I was never personally attracted to him. Though this is the first drama of his that I really like and enjoy so that may be boosting his attractiveness.
Why is everyone so sure that GIR & Smart breached the contract????Has anyone actually seen the contract or does…
Of course no fan has read their contract. However, GIR’s public statements stated that they indeed chose to stop working with Tailai/Headliner. GIR themselves issued a unilateral termination of contract with Headliner.
Whether GIR’s publicly known actions and whatever else evidence Tailai/Headliner have against them constitute breach in accordance with Thai laws and the contract/s itself, that’s up to the courts to decide. Whether GIR’s reasons to terminate the contract are also up to the court to determine whether they are valid or not.
Whatever the result of the court case may be, what is apparent is that the companies cannot continue to work together anymore. While fans will find ways to cope with the loss which could mean believing one company over the other, leaving the fandom altogether, fighting to get SmartBoom back, etc. I condemn the hate but fans will do whatever they will do while the more sober fans could only remind other fans not to hate.
At the end of the day, SmartBoom is over and I personally am lamenting this loss.
I expected as much when Tailai issued their June 12 statement. Still hurts though. Still wanna see what’s next for JinAkin so I hope there will be a second season and I hope they’ll still keep Boom as Akin. We’ve already lost Smart, I have no wish to lose Boom too.
It seems as if Boom's agency is the one who is being shady though if what Smart's agency said is true. Because…
Smart’s agency never claimed smart wasn’t getting paid. They only stated that they were not informed in advance how much smart was getting paid prior to the events and that they, smart’s agency, wasn’t getting payment related information.
The problem here is that Grand Ivory Records (GIR) and headliner both each claim that they have full management rights over smart (aside over music as that’s all GIR). So that GIR wants all information regarding smart especially information related to payments from Headliner/Tailai because they think they alone manage smart. While Headliner doesn’t give the information to GIR because they also think they alone manage smart and they are the one who made those deals. All supposing that GIR didn’t lie when they made those claims in their statement.
SmartBoom will continue working tgthttps://twitter.com/GrandIvoryRec/status/1934231127767777391
That’s a one sided announcement. Headliner had been silent so far. It’s also saying that GIR is still negotiating with Headliner as to the continuation of SmartBoom.
Notice also that the statement failed to mention any negotiations between GIR and Tailai who produces topform. Tailai who on June 12 suspended all negotiations with GIR and Smart as well as suspended any future support/collaboration with GIR and Smart.
Notice further that GIR did not mention Tailai anywhere in that latest announcement. GIR has also now put all blame on Headliner and no longer on Tailai.
Basically GIR’s new statement means absolutely nothing.
I think that’s what GIR is exactly doing, they are milking the success. However, they did it by unilaterally…

am I the only one that thinks it is super weird that Smart 's agency doesn't want to milk the SmartBoom success…
I think that’s what GIR is exactly doing, they are milking the success. However, they did it by unilaterally terminating Smart’s co-management with headliner which is the company in charge of Smart’s tv & movie deals and then signed him up for solo deals, and expecting headliner and tailai to continue negotiating with them regarding topform and duo activities. They want full management of Smart so they alone could earn all the money. Unfortunately, Tailai is having none of that so they suspended all support for Smart and wrote him out of any future TopForm seasons.
The arrogance they have when they said no actors, no series in their reply to Tailai’s announcement shows their attitude in the negotiation table. I don’t believe Smart himself rejected any activities with Boom, that’s Tailai throwing him under the bus for business purposes. But I see why Tailai suspended further support for Smart.
I have seen a better sub on TikTok but it’s still updating. In the meantime, this will do. Thank you.

Such a pity that one can only sigh.
