I'm just now starting the show (with very low expectations) but no matter how it ends the one hill I will die on is that NO ending will ever be worse than the final episode of The Miracle of Teddy Bear.

I am just about to start this show, with low expectations, but this comment just made me think of Venus In the Sky. 😄

However, in the initial post I just misunderstand what they were getting at. When they said it from fully colored, to not fully colored, to dark roots I just assumed they were referring to the past/present colored vs not colored.

I could be mistaken here, but I'm pretty sore the only two actors with different haircolors are Him and Nail / Blue. Every time you saw Him with black hair he was with Blue, who also had black hair. Every time you saw Him with silver/barely lavender color dyed hair he was with Nail woods hair was bleached.

I didn't find that confusing at all -- if anything, I thought it helped keep past and present very well separated.

Just to further impress the age -- they said they were "the same age" while riding the bus, which I believe was right after the outdoor movie on Suansoon's 18th birthday, but that Ong-Sa was older. But Ong-sa said that despite that he *felt* young compared to Suansoon, so he started calling Suansoon Phi.

So, if all this occurred on their 10th anniversary then the day would be March 14th in 2018. Which would also be Suansoon's birthday.
(since they became boyfriends at the outdoor movie on Suansoon's 18th birthday when Ong-Sa gave him the bracelet)

All this just means that Ong-sa was at least 18 when they met, and could've turned 19 at any point after Suansoon turned 18. So Ong-Sa was most definitely a legal adult through the entire series.

While some people may think a 28 year old and an 18/19 year old seems odd, it still doesn't change the fact that they're both consenting adults.

Believe me, I know all of that very well. Playboyy is also written by the same author who wrote Only Friends and the two are part of a set. Only Friends to show how sex can affect friendships from many angles, and Playboyy tov show how being a sex worker, or being with a sex worker, can affect all your relationships.

The only reason I brought up Hit Bite Love was to contradict your statement that, "Ain't no way Thailand is going to shoot a show about sex with high schoolers." when that's exactly what they did with Hit Bite Love.

Well, it's a VERY reasonable assumption that Keen is being expelled. But, even as I read that and thought, "wow, good job Captain, scewed up the guy's whole life!" ... instantly after that it occuted to me that we're watching Playboyy, and they love to mess with our perception of things. Keen is the team coach, so maybe, just maybe, he's being notified of one of his team member's expulsion??

Shiitake mushroom = circumcised anatomy, probably only half "alert."
Cheese sausage in Thailand are much longer and thicker than shiitake mushrooms, they are also rather phallic shaped and very slightly curved. So, this represents the fully "alert" anatomy.
I was a bit baffled by the seaweed comment, but I'm going to take a wild guess and say maybe Zouey isn't doing any man-scaping and he's quite bushy at the base of the mushroom.

This was one of the best things I've read in a while. I laughed so much.

However, the line that really got me was: "Sad Twink Manor Meeting time." I have never heard anything so perfectly appropriate.

Mind you, I've actually really enjoyed the show so far. I have a few complaints, but nothing that ruins the show for me like some of the other posters. More like.... things that just annoy me. Like: the fact that RICH is obviously the fearured clothing line (yes, its a real designer / clothing line) and they never should have attempted so much English.

Oh, the 48 hours ...

Months ago Nant was part of the sad twink manor. He for involved in drugs through Nuth. He got into rough sex through the Playboyy club. Nant stole drugs that he was supposed to sell and owed Nuth's boss a lot of money. Nant then faked his death with Prom's help then went into hiding.
No one, not even Prom, one where Nant was hiding.
After months, I think they said 6 months?? Nont showed up, pretended to be Nant, eventually came clean, get everyone in on the search. Now, present day, however months after Nant staged his death, Nont's body is found in a forest and the medical examiner says that he's only been dead for about 48 hours. Which means that Nant was living in hiding wherever he went and was alive the whole time Nont was searching for him -- well, at least he was alive until 2 days prior to this episode. The news program claimed that Nant died to a self inflicted drug overdose, but it seems like there are still questions as to the validity of that, or if the overdose was forced on him or used as a cover-up for the true cause of death. So, now, caught up to present day, the gang had Nant's funeral and are moving forward.

Anyway, that's all I can add. Have fun!!

Thank you so much for seeing things how I intended, I do greatly appreciate that. I hope you do enjoy the series, despite some of the flaws, because they really do get into some very deep topics if you're willing to truly listen to what the conversations are saying and get past some of the delivery.

To be fair though, for some people that IS the reason ....
I won't claim it's everyone's reason, but that is is jus a complaint I've seen around the internet. Folks have said there aren't any good kisses, there are no NC scenes, there are no relationships and others.

Folks are free to like or dislike whatever, and some of those people will have reasonable and well thought reasons. But, we can't discount the fact that there are still some people out there who are only after the NC scenes and if a show doesn't contain enough NC content then they don't like it purely for that reason.

Still, technically, a valid opinion to have .... but MY PERSONALL OPINION on that matter is that it's pretty shallow and they should probably just go watch p0rn and when they're ready come back to BL for the stories, the actors, etc. hehehe
