from the first episode, i had to grab anything near me bc of the cringiness and awkwardness 😠the script and…
I haven't seen this yet, I came to the comments to see if I should start it.
Your explanation really reminded me of how I felt about Secret Crush on You. It was so cringy and awkward at first, but by the time it was over it was one of my all-time favorites!
How is the drama ?I m confused since I don't go by rating rather read the comments, but the comments here are…
Not an absolute masterpiece, but still not bad. It's not gong to go winning awards, but if you enjoy a pretty basic kdrama that follows the usual intro, build-up and conclusion with a few laughs and a small bit of mystery then you'll probably enjoy it.
The script itself isn't really conducive to letting the cast show their best acting, but still, they're not bad either. They deliver what they were given very well, but what they were given could've been better written. So, it's pretty average, but not so bad that it's worth skipping. I say give a fair try.
You will either need a membershio with them, and then it's free to watch, or you can just pay $2 USD if you don't want the membership. If you consider the membership, then I personally recommend the Plus over the standard. Even just 1 month at $10 USD you can watch sooooooo many things you may not have found elsewhere, so if it's not in your budget to pay every month maybe consider getting just one month and binge like crazy. 😊
The original name was The Vampire Project. Honestly, both names make me roll my eyes.
However!! I know that like 90% of Thai shows have an English name and a Thai name, and they are usually quite different. So perhaps the Thai name is better??
What happened to Boss??? He was a big part of why I wanted to watch this! (Not that it doesn't still look good,…
Yes!! I think it's almost the exact same system. Maybe it's just because they're smaller and "younger" when it comes to TV & movies compared to places like Hollywood and the massive companies with so much money.
Originally it was a Wabi Sabi and Me Mind Y collaboration. Boss is from Me Mind Y.
Wabi Sabi ended their contracts with ALL actors and will no longer manage artists, they will just be a production house.
Since the majority of Wabi Sabi's former actors went to GMMTV the show became a GMMTV and Wabi Sabi collaboration, no longer involving Me Mind Y.
So, the actors who moved to GMMTV remain in their parts, and the roles that were previously given to either Wabi Sabi actors that went to other companies or those who were with Me Mind Y were replaced with other GMMTV actors.
It's not completely impossible for actors to work with other companies, but it's hugely irregular and unusual. 99.5% of the time actors only work with the company who employs them.
It's not like in the western world where actors have managers and can work for any company, in Thailand they only work with the company they are contracted with. Except for the very rare freelance artist or those who own their own company (like Bilkin & PP Krit) and can do short-term contract work companies only hire from within their own pool of contracted artists.
did they just renamed it and removed boss? ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

Boss is workshopping "Boy Next World" and he's finishing shooting "Zomvivor" so it was probably scheduling
Definitely not about scheduling ....

hes the screenwriter too ? omg this trailer was alot better than the first one we saw and also can yall get over…
Except for freelance artists and a few that have their own company (PP Krit & Bilkin come to mind) I can't think of any company that makes a habit of hiring artists outside of their own company.
In Thailand the artists are contracted directly to the production company. It's not like Western artists that have 3rd party managers who can get work for their actors at any production company.

Where did they screen in Thailand for ep 10? The local channel?
There was supposed to be a live fan event for the final episode on Feb. 08, but it was canceled, so no one has seen it and no one knows when, or if, it will come out.
?? every time I’m hearing this I have a smile on my face. I hope it’s a nice word
I was just being ready to post that, glad I read a bit further. lol
And if anyone is curious, the other announcement you may hear that begins with "thulakorn ..." ตัวละคร พฤติทรรม สถานที่.... Means: "Characters, behavior, places..."
This lakorn is Lowkey better than I expected. There are some plot twists that really keep you interested. Dech…
I haven't started this yet, but a friend is currently doing subtitles for me. I'm wondering if this will be a good lakorn that just happens to have gay characters similar to To Sir With Love (aka: Khun Chai) and The Miracle of Teddy Bear. I loved both of those tremendously. (except the final episode of TMoTB -- I think that was the worst and most cruel ending ever. I DESPISE that final episode. I think they should've just let him go, mourn him and leave it there. Before I start ranting I'll stop there, but yeah. lol)
I was about to start this one, but then noticed there were only 6 episodes and I came here to see how many there would be one out completed. (10) So, at this point I'll just wait and binge it once it's done.
However, I took at chance at looking at and some comments and there's a LOT regarding bad subtitles. My next question then is this:
Is everyone saying that the subs are bad watching it on the official WeTV channel, or are you using other sites??
I'm just now starting the show (with very low expectations) but no matter how it ends the one hill I will die…
I was going to call The Miracle of Teddy Bear my favorite BL... until that final episode.
I wish they would've just ended it with Tofu dead and let it be. It would've been so sad, but such a beautiful ending!!
But noooooo, they had to go do far as to make him come back as a teddy bear and then torture him by making him watch the one he loves spend the rest of his life with someone else, and zero way to communicate that he was sentient. I felt like it was just a cruel and heartless ending and Tofu deserved more dignity than that.

So, I guess I'll at least give this a chance.
