omg so tired of drama frontpages having 2 males around FL. I dont even need to read the tags to know I dont want to watch this. Surprise, first tag: love triangle
Ok let me ask a very serious question:are they virgin???At their 30's and still virgin?????
You are new to asian dramas right? :P With some exceptions, in asian romances when they are around 30 they date like we do at 16 in europe. And dont missread, Im not saying asians are like that, Im saying asian romance dramas
But there's one thing I didnt enjoy much. The male lead seem to be so committed to the relationship and he is…
I see this happen in many asian romances. Before they get together, I think Ive seen as many dramas where he likes her more, as dramas where she likes him more. But after they get together, suddenly many dramas switch to ML being much more in love with her than the opposite.
But while you could say this show clearly shows him likeing her more, it's absolutly not annoying like others in my opinion. She constantly tells him how much she loves him, she goes see him, not always him looking for her, she calls him, she texts him, she sends him hearts, when she is too cold for a while she apologizes and does something to make him feel good... so on and so on.
Yes, he still likes her even more. But she shows her love A LOT. There's so many shows where after they are together FL seems to forget him. A few examples: Run on: omg, FL changed from "please like me" to "me and my job are more important than my love life" Shopping king louie: She was amazing at the start with him. But near the end of the show, it was always him looking for her and she just doing her life and job. Strong woman do bo song: well this one doesnt count because she doesnt look in love neither before nor after getting together
Been wanting to watch this drama for quite some time, but supposedly it has a love triangle. If so, how bad is…
I guess you have already watched it, but in case you havent, Ill tell you about it as a person who hates love triangles:
You should totally watch the show. The love triangle is very short. Leads get together very early, in episode 8. After that, its all awesome between them. That being said, the love triangle has something annoying, but it's not the obvious thing. It's totally onesided. She never likes the other guy. The annoying part is that she thinks she owes him something from the past (its not true), so even though she doesnt like him, she still feels obligated to meet him a few times (as a friend). The other guy then makes a public confession of his love... but when she hears it, she runs over to ML, confesses to him and that was the last thing you heard of the love triangle. It's very short and without much screentime. The only think making it annoying is that she thinks it was that guy who saved her in the past (he wasnt).
Just finished rewatching it. I gave it a very high score the first time. This second watch, after a few episodes,…
Romance recap: - At the start, he has been likeing her for 9 years, but he hasnt realized that himself yet. - She has been his secretary for 9 years, and in episode 1 she tells him she wants to quit. - He doesnt want her to quit, and when she says the reason is she wants time to date and create a family, he says he will date her. - She takes it as a joke of course, but he starts pursuing her. At the start, he doesnt admin even to himslef that its because he likes her. - The first things he does to win her over, he masks them as gifts for her departure. - He starts pursuing her more and more boldly, and soon he doesnt hide his intentions anymore. - 2 times they almost kiss, but his ptsd makes him push her away in the last second. - A small and onesided love triangle happens. His brother is interested in her, but she isnt. She meets him a couple times as a friend. - End of episode 8 she tells him "sorry for not having answered to your multiple confessions sooner", they kiss, and get together, - From this point on, they are together until the end, no breakups, and both are lovely to eatchother. - They have quite a lot of awkard but comic moments between them. - both families support them pretty quickly - Show ends with their wedding.
Just finished rewatching it. I gave it a very high score the first time. This second watch, after a few episodes, I wasnt enjoying it as much as the first time, and I thought I was going to lower the score a bit. But after finishing it, I think it still deserves the high score.
I reallized the humor of this show relies a lot on creating small awkwardnesses. Just very minor stuff, and always in a comic way. But still, at the start I wasnt enjoying it that much and skipping many of those small moments.
But man, the show makes you feel so good so many times, and it also makes you constantly laugh, that it's totally worth it. So I finally leave my initial score of 9.
Also, they get together very early for a kdrama, and I love it.
A perfect romantic love story which might be applicable in real life too! Chemistry between main leads is so adorable…
They didnt put much separation? Since they woke up I copuldnt enjoy the show because of separation. First he doesnt remember, which is a very annoying trope. Then he wants to be with her, is amazing with her, and she suddenly doesnt want anything with him. And they only get together at the very end of the show. They were together like 2 episdodes in the dream and 1/3 of an episode in real life, I liked the first part very much, but since she woke up, the show lost like 2 entire points for me
Just finished it. Oh boy, those last 2 episodes really make you tear up.It's pretty good. Both lead actors are…
My thoughts about it:
I enjoyed it. The best part were both leads, I really liked them. The story was regular, had many things that didnt make sense, but that usually doesnt bother me in this type of shows.
There are 2 things I didnt like. - Im sure you remember 1 or 50 kdramas where one of the leads doesnt tell the other about his problems and faces them alone, and then the other finds out and is mad about it. Well there usualyl is a scene were the other tells him, never again, we should face it together and blabla. Maybe it doesnt work the first time, but the next time it works. Well in this show its ridiculous. It happens one, two, three, four times..... i cant remember how many times. He keeps lieing to her, even in the typical scene where he is sorry about it and tells her it wont happen again... he is still lieing to her because he still isnt right. It's just too much
- I didnt quite like the ending. It is a completly happy ending but... meh. They took the final problem a bit too far IMO. And then tried to pull a very happy ending not just with marriage, but with repeated marriage. I didnt quite dig it. The good part is that they got together pretty soon in the show, so theres a lot of the show with them together, even tho the real happy ending is just the last minutes.
Just finished it. Oh boy, those last 2 episodes really make you tear up.It's pretty good. Both lead actors are…
I made a pretty detailed recap, so read at your own risk of being spoiled:
- They meet in the first episode and oh boy, their instant chemistry is amazing. Reminded me of the first episode of Dali and the Cocky Prince. They fall for eatchother in 15 minutes screentimeand in an amazing way - They agree to meet 1 hour later, but sadly something bad happens and he looses his memory and she is very sad he doesnt appear and even gets into a scandal. - 3 years later, she fell from glory bacause of that scandal and he forgot everything about that day, and each day he forgets the previous day. - They meet by chance, she is now poor and he doesnt remember her so he treats her pretty bad. - But he triggers something on his memory, so he keeps contacting her, even tho he still treats her bad, and since he doesnt tell her about his memory problem (what can you expect from an asian drama) she is very sad he doesnt rememebr her and turned jerk - He soon starts falling for her and starts treating her better - In episode 5 he confesses, but in a pretty bad way, he is scared of his problem but doesnt say anything about it, so she refuses. But at the end of episode 5 he "rescues" her from an embarassing situation and kisses her. - He starts boldly pursuing her - In episode 8 he recovers his memories about what happened that day 3 years ago and runs to her and they kiss. From this point on you could say they are already together, altho its more official a bit later. - In episode 9 he has dinner in her house with her family. At the end of this episode they kiss and after that scene, on episode 10, they officially say they are together (but they already acted like that since episode 8) - in episode 13 he regains more memories about that day 3 years ago that help clear her name from the scandal, so her career starts raising again - For the last episodes ML start feeling worse and worse, so in episode 15 he leaves without saying anything, preparing to try to get better or die. - One year passes and it turns out he was all that time in the Healing centre he built. He hit bottom a year ago and almost dierd, but he recovered now to the point of being about the same as a year ago. - The doctor in charge makes her meet FL (she doesnt know about it). He doesnt remember her, but after talking for a bit with her, he remembers and hugs her. - Next scene is their wedding.... their 4th wedding. Turns you he still forgetrs stuff, so since he is forgetting their wedding, they marry again each time.
Just finished it. Oh boy, those last 2 episodes really make you tear up.
It's pretty good. Both lead actors are amazing. Oh man his voice is lit. And FLs both character and actress are great, at the same time cute/sweet and strong/straightforward. I think they they took the final "problem" a bit too far tho.
I know it's technically a happy ending but I think it's bittersweet because I still can't stop thinking of how…
Wait, I was about to watch this drama after being redirected here by a "feel good drama" post, and after reading many comments saying how cute it is... and they dont end up together?? OMG

Just finished it. My opinion: it's a pitty. It could have been great. It was being fun, and interesting, and made…
TLDR: They get together in the second half of episode 20 (of 20). That's a nono for me
Detailed explanation: The first half of the show is pretty good. The show is funny, the premise is very interesting, FL being the "bad sFL" in a novel, and sFL being the "real" FL of the novel. Actors are pretty good and I had a lot of fun watching it. It made you want the leads ton be finally together. And so, in episode 12 they get together. Or so they make you think. But its just a small parenthesis of about 2 episodes, without even much going on between them except the first scene.
Then both wake up and he doesnt remember her. So she chases him for a while, trying to make him remember. Then he falls for her and declares his love... and now suddenly she doesnt want anything to do with him....
Not only is it not sweet or anythign similar, it also doesnt make sense at all.
Then, in the second half of the last episode, he remembers, they get together, next scene they are signing the marriage papers and going camping and the show ends.
I sincerely could not enjoy the show after the short time they first got together.
BTW, anybody bothered about love triangles, should not worry about this show. It has a love triangle on both sides, and its a part of the story, but believe me as a love triangle hater, they are not bad at all.
This is basically k drama version of c drama "sweet teeth" (technically this one came first).Positive points in…
Is it really like sweet teeth? Im reading comments saying this show is so deep, and shows several stories with deep topics. As far as I remember sweet teeth was just a cute little romecom without any deep message. Just cute and alright. Doesnt sound like any of the reviews of this show Im reading
Episode 11. It's a pretty harrowing episode actually. Even on the eleventieth rewatch
I disagree. I hate drama, I like happy stuff, and this episode wasnt bad. She had it coming, at that point, it was deserved, and one episode of being mad with her was totally needed. And it had many sweet moments of him speaking about how he felt about it. And she acted also very nicely during this time, admiting everything and realizing things she hadnt even though about when he explained
My list on this webpage isnt very accurate, I keep everything in his spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/1/d/1ZeBWXJWgxN0kDg0rPlR4B6RSM7XIEi4GJ0RyDUimHAw/edit#gid=281076031
Maybe you can find a good recommendation there.
