I cant believe I am reading this.
In the past ML breaks up with FL in their best moments to keep a secret.
He avoids her for 17 years.
When they meet again, every time FL tries to approach him he rejects her. She even confesses and he rejects her.... while being madly in love with her.
When he finally is going to tell the truth, and she said she will bear anything... she gets mad.
Mad about having kept it a secret? Sure, but after she isnt mad anymore about not having told her , she still doesnt want to be with him just because he is family with the people who wronged her and she spends days thinking if Sin is inherited... wtf
When after 11 frikin episodes of this BIG communication problem they make up and start dating.... 10 minutes later in episode 12 they have their first fight.
And after fixing it in the next episode, they have their second fight.
And I havent watched more yet.

Wait, wtf. I was just about to start this drama. It doesnt have any love triangle tag, and now I read theres a stupid sML? Come on, mydramalist, that tag is important to avoid terrible tropes.

And in what episode do they get together?
Is there a breakup after that?

What are you talking about. Im a sucker for leads getting soon together, and coffe prince is amazing. They get together in 12/17. We see them dating for 6 full episodes. Saying he doesnt realize it until the end of the show is totally undtrue.

Oh wow, and I hate triangles even when FL doesnt like the other guy. what a terrible show, total skip for me

I usually say at what episode they get together here, but it's not possible here. Theres not a single point. They just slowly get together until they are. And everybody wathcing it could feel it is at a different moment when you can officially say they are together.

- In episode 6, you already start seeing they like eachother. From that point onthey are flawless to eachother until episode 51. Its really great.
- Their relationship evolves very slowly, but I would say theres not a single episode where we dont see them cute with eachother.
- Theres only 2 moments in the entire show where they are apart for a few episodes. One shortly after episode 6 (when we start seeing they like eachother) and one at about 3/4 of the show. And even during those episodes, tehres not a single episode where we dont see each of them thinking about the other. They are sweet together even the few episodes they are apart
- In episode 25, for me theres a major breakthrough. Until this point they clearly liked eachotehr, but they only joked about it. In this episode, he kisses his own finger and puts it on her cheek, and she smiles. Its the first tiem they do something intimate without laughing about it. Also, until this point they found excuses to continue traveling together, but from here on, they clearly just say they want to continue together.
- In episode 31 something happens and from this point on FL doubles her shows of affection for him. And this change is permanent. (She was always cute and sweet towards im, but now she is a lot more bold)
- In episode 39 they kiss for the first time
- From this point on they totally act like a real couple. The reason I dont say 39 is where they get together is because they already clearly were before.
- Nothing else to say, they stay awesome together until the end.

- No love triangles. 2 guys along the show like FL a bit but dont cause any trouble at all. Its only very short, they are good guys and dont cause trouble, and leads only have eyes for eachother since episode 6.
- Not a single missunderstanding. Altho ML keeps a secret for a long time. It doesnt cause any trouble.
- Of course, no breakup.

Just finished it. It is very good.

I would give it a rating of over 9 if instead of 51 episodes it would be about 35 episode long, and they would cut about 70% of every scene where the leads are not present.

Yeah, the good part about this show are the leads. Amazing how they treat eachother from episode 6 to 51. I always like shows where the leads get together early, but this is one of the few you can enjoy their relationship from much earlier than when they are together. They are flawless with eachother all the time.

The rest isnt bad, dont get me wrong. But ... I just dont like shows that are so long. So, since the leads is the best thing this show has, I would cut many episodes by reducing the rest of the scenes. But they are alright.

While I get where you come from... I disagree. I hate cold leads, be it ML or FL. In this show FL is sweet with ML since very early.
I hate shows where one of the leads dont show his love for the other, like for example strong woman do bo soong. You will never see her looking at him with lovely eyes, or yearning for being with him or anything. FL in this show on the other hand, is constantly looking at him, constantly wants to be with him, and the few times they are apart we see her thinking about him all the time.
Thats not being cold. She just has a more serious composure. And even more, she always likes when ML jokes around.

I enjoyed it far more after episode 20.
First of all they are sweeter together
Second, in the first part they present us so many characters and factions I didnt care about.
After episode 20, the story focuses more on the main characters.

Read some nice comments on reddit, but after reading over the comments here, it looks like its has an annoying love triangle and annoying missunderstandings. I dont call a show like that fluffy. I better pass

They never quarrel (a few times they say they quarreled, because they had a small disagreement, but that is not a quarrel. At those points each of them was more worried about the other not being mad than about himself)
No love triangle.

Just finished rewatching it one year later. I liked it more than the first time. I think it is because it was my first cdrama back then, I only watched kdramas at that time. So while I did like it, their love was too childish for me. Now that I have watched lots of cdramas, and I am more used to chinese romance standards, I enjoyed it a lot more. I raised the 78/100 score I gave it back then to 87/100

A few spoilers below for romance lovers. I always look for this info before starting a drama, if you find it useful please post the same each time you finish one :P

I like how calmly he speaks. At the end of Love the way you are, the actors talk a bit, and it was amazing how he was exactly the same as in the show xD The rest of the actors that spoke sounded a bit different than their characters, but he sounded exactly the same

Wow, how can she be 12 years older than ML from Love the Way You Are? She looks the same age as him. It almsot didnt look like a noona romance since they look about the same age.
