Just watched Love Crossed. The show was pretty meh, but I think FLs acting was awesome. She was very funny. Made me laugh with her expressions while making up excuses many times

Finished it. It's... meh.
It is funny. The plot starts interesting, but I didnt find it that good later on. From other comments I see people like the second part with the plot twists, but I didnt find them so good.
The romance part is pretty bad. Im not even sure why. It supposedly has sweet moments and in theory all what is needed, but... I usually cant wait for the romance to progress, and in this one I couldnt care less.
I think one of the problems is it doesnt really have a Male Lead. ML is like another support character and just FLs love interest. He also is worthless the entire show, just a cute face being carried along.
I liked FL a lot on the other hand. I think she was the best part of the show. She was very funny, loved when she started speaking fast for example, and the expressions she did when she was making excuses to get out of problems. Her acting was very good in my opinion.

All in all, it's not bad, it's funny and interesting enough, but not very good either.

I feel totally the opposite. The show started interesting, and then went worse as time passed. Im now on the second to last episode and Ive bees skipping the last 6 episodes all the time.

At episode 20 for now. The show is pretty good. Interesting and very funny. I think FL, sFL and villain are great. But I dont like ML. If you can even call him ML. For now he is just FLs love interest, just a pretty guy who does nothing but receive help from FL.
But besides ML and romance which are meh, the rest is great and funny.

Im on episode 20 and I dont know what you mean by they "get together" earlier. They arent together yet, neither officially nor unofficially. If you just meant, he stops being a jerk towards her, that's called being friends, not getting together :P

I cant talk about other dramas, I've seen none. But I'm this one, I liked her acting quite a lot. ML wasn't bad. The show was good but not great. For me.

There's tons of dramas where one looks more in love than the other. It's the writers who decide if we see scenes one looking at the other with love. It's the writers who decide which of them tries to spend time with the other. It's the writers who decide who tries to kiss the other and who dodges all the time, who gets shots watching the other, who takes more care of the other, and so on and so on. And in this drama, like in many others, they decided once they start dating it's ML who clearly shows more interest in being lovely than she does. Imo it's completely a writer's choice
A good example for this Run On. There FL is lovely before they are together. She sighs for him all the time, she wants to be with him, she clearly shows it. But once they get together, I hate it, she suddenly cares.more about everything else. She doesn't look lovely. It's clearly writers choice, since she showed the love before daring very well

What you say here is another topic completely, in my opinion. It's another typical thing in Asian dramas, that after they start dating, ML looks much more in love than FL. In my opinion this has to do with writers and not with acting. Not only in this show, but in all where like I said this happens. I don't think it's the actress choice the amount of love they can show. For example after 10 episodes of already being in love with him, when he confesses, she doesn't show happiness, and want even sure if she should accept. I didn't like it at all,but that's not the acting of the actress, it's what she was told to do. So I think the level of affection FLs show are also decided by the writers. Same as you say his cold expression is his character

That may be his character, thats why I never blame the actor when they get the tipical stone cold character. I always say, maybe he is good, but his role was bad. But not being it your fault doesnt mean you did a great job. If they dont let you show lots of expressions you just cant shine. And it is a typical thing that happens with MLs in many asian shows.
Still, Im not saying he was bad. There are much worse stone cold characters than this one. Like you say, in the third part of the show he shows more emotions. But more than at the sgtart still isnt great. He is still almost always cold, with just some smiles sometimes. Thats all.
I dont know if we saw the same show, beacuse IMO she acts in many different moods and expressions. Well, maybe not many compared to other great characters of other shows, but still quite good, and better than him.

Those are arguments that make a love triangle less annoying. But dont make it not a love triangle. Both were pursuing the girl. Both were jealous of the other. ML had to run and sweat several times in fear of sML confessing before him. After they got together sML kept puting his finger into the wound of ML not being good for FL because of all the trouble.
Still, I get you, I agree it wasnt annoying because of what you say, She 100% always only liked ML. But that only makes it less annoying, it doesnt make it magically non existant.

Romance recap:
- episodes 1-6 they arent together but their chemistry is over the roof. They are just awesome together
- In episode 6 he does the mistake of leaving (noble idiocy to be better for her and dont interfer with her exams).
- Episodes 7-11 he comes back and she is angry with him. Altho he had good intentions she is right to be mad. But not to the extend they make it. This is the only part of the show that is a pitty because FL is otherwise 100% flawless always, but becomes annoying in this few episodes. Like I said she is right to be mad, but she should have stopped being mad much earlier.
- episode 12 they get together, as soon as the scene where they get together starts, she is suddenly lovely and amazing again.
- from episode 12 to 28 both leads are awesome, flawless and lovely with eachother. They face many external problems, almost none of them big, but still constant. The gravity of the problems wasnt annoying, but I felt the quantity was a bit annoying.
They never break up, they never get mad at eachother, they do hide some things from eachother, but always respect the decission when they find out.
There is a typicall study abroad scene towards the end, but it wasnt annoying like in many other shows, because she leaves at the very end of an episode, and next episode starts with her arriving back.
Oh, and there is a love triangle, but it's not very annoying. FL only ever likes ML and as soon as they get together she stops sML right away. Still a bit annoying because sML doesnt give up and causes some trouble
