watching episode 16, the prince looks like a sad puppy :( he seems so desperate for his first love, its so cute…
I was about to start this show but this comment put me off. I hated how in the second part of Run On, FL didnt seem half in love with ML as he did. Does the same thing happen here? It's even the same actress
Just finished it. If you want a quick veredict: it's great. But some parts are better than others. - Before getting…
Romance recap: - ML acts as if he is bullying her, altho he is trying to protect her from something. She hates him for bullying her. Slowly the hate fades and they have some cute moments - In episode 19 they realize they got a 100% match on a dating app. She already started having feelings (he always did) and they have a cute moment touching hads - Episode 20 is the get together and it is amazing. He is about to confess but before that she discover his "treasure" with photos of her and even a love letter he wrote 10 years ago. She runs towards him and he confesses. It is an awesome episode - The next 6 episodes are awesome. Both leads are incredibly at showing their love. This episodes have the best girlfriend character of any romance Ive seen. - Episode 27 he goes away to solve a problem and acts as if they would break up. It isnt very angsty, she soon realizes whats going on - Episode 30 problem is solved and he wants to get back together. I dont like how they get back together. He should apologize, but FL takes it too far. - 2 year timejump and they are living together happily. - For the rest of the show they are great together and with good chemistry, altho I missed the middle episodes where they were even better.
There is a love triangle, but more than a love triangle Id say it's an annoying delusional sML. It makes no sense how much he falls in love with FL with the interactions they have. And it makes no sense that after being 2 years with ML, he still is convinced he has a chance with FL. So yeah, it's more an annoying sML than a real love triangle.

I want to explain what I didnt like, but it's not a very bad thing, it is just a pitty things didnt continue as nice. On those incredibly awesome middle episodes after getting together, like I said above it's one of the best relationships Ive seen in a romance, if not the best. FLs behaviour is just perfect. ML too, but this is more usual in this stage of the romance. Then there is a break up. Dont worry it is not a bad one. ML leaves to solve the mystery of how FLs dad died and put the people responsible behind bars. He does not only not ask for FLs help, but he also acts as if they would be breaking up. It is not bad because just the next day FL realizes he is up to something and isnt sad anymore, and starts to investigate herself. It doesnt feel like a real break up. When it is solved and he wants to get back together, is where the bad part happens to me. He did wrong and should apologize for acting as if they would break up, I agree. But that should have been it. She should have been mad, he should have apologized and they should have gotten back together. But no, she kicks him out of the house. he has to spend days and days apologizing, making stuff for her, bringing gifts, and so on and so on. He friking resolved her child trauma, put the ppl responsible for her dads death behind bars, even recovered her dads company and gave it to her mom. And I agree he still needs to apologize for acting like breaking up. But come on girl! But this is not enough for her, before agreeing to getting back, she still demands slapping him on his ass with a stick a few times, and she does it. And then they get back together and she still acts cold and he has to run around her begging.... no, just no, you made her awesome character annoying in this point.
After that there is a 2 year time jump and they are happy together. They are lovely, and they have chemistry again, jsut not as great as before.
And please dont be discouraged by what I write here. I enjoyed the middle episodes so much that I wanted to vent a bit about the rest, but really, they are always greeat together and she always shows her love. Not being as good as the middle episodes doesnt make the rest bad, its still good.
Just finished it. If you want a quick veredict: it's great. But some parts are better than others.
- Before getting together: It's the typical ML bullies FL (to "protect" her) and FL hates ML. I dont like this set up, so I didnt like this part much, but it may be a personal preference. It is not bad, they arent horrible to eachother, and as it advances they have more and more good moments together. Still, since I dont like this trope it wasnt very enjoyable for me.
- When they get together: OMG. This must be one of the best 6 or 7 episodes of a romance. This part has it's chemistry through the roof. FL in particular, is the most enjoyable girlfriend I have seen in any romance. She doesnt make ML carry the relationship further on his shoulders, she is totally proactive in the relationship, lovely, straightforward, and everything you expect. I just loved her character in this part. This part of the show was a 10/10. By the way, how they get together is AWESOME
- The typical "problem" happens: The problem wasnt very bad or angsty actually. It wasnt the problem itself what I disliked, it was how "they fixed" it (trying to avoid spoilers). When they solved the problem, I didnt like FL as much as I did before. Ill give more details on another comment under spoliers.
- The last part of the show: if this would have been any other drama, Id say they have a nice chemistry in this last part. But after those 6 or 7 middle episodes I talked about earlier, it felt underwhelming. It was still great, both were lovely, both showed their love constantly.... but still, on another level than on those previous episodes. The balance turned like usual in other dramas into showing ML doing more for their relationship than FL. And please dont get me wrong, she shows her love a lot. It's good, just not as awesome as before
All in all, totally recommended romance. Sweet, with a lot of chemistry and pretty lighearted
just finsished it. It is pretty bad, but it still hooks you up. The good: - it is very lighthearted- it has sweet…
Romance recap: - ML starts likeing FL from episode 1 - He treats her... not bad, but like she was already his possession. The more he does that the more she dislikes him - Around episode 7 she starts having thoughts about him. - In episode 10 he confesses officially, altho he has been clearly pursuing her since the start - In episode 11 you could say they start being together. It's not really a specific moment since he always treated her like his gf, but here she starts acting the same. - In episode 13 she clerary confesses she loves him .- In episode 15 they break up because she has a secret that is missunderstood by him and she cant say the truth to protect her sister. - During the breakup she does things for him all the time. - In 18 they get back together (no more problems between them until the end) - In 20 he finally finds out about the secrets. - In 24 it ends happily for everybody with a double wedding.
just finsished it. It is pretty bad, but it still hooks you up.
The good: - it is very lighthearted - it has sweet moments - it is sometimes funny (not as much as they want it to be)
The bad: - So many things, behaviours and reactions dont make sense at all. And Im in no way a sucker for realism. I prefer an enjoyable show than a realistic one. But in this one.... it's just bad - Before being together, ML tries to pursue her... by being a total jackass and behaving like she were his possession. It's not as bad a in other shows where FL meakly agrees. Here she fights back and just despises him for behaving like that. But it just doesnt make sense, he keeps doing it like that, making her dislike him more and more... - ...until suddenly she is completly in love. Doesnt make sense at all, its not sweet, its just... WTF
So, if you like lighthearted romances, go ahead, I dont regret watching it. I enjoyed it, but at the same time I thought all the time how bad it was.
I put notes on chapter numbers so I can easily rewatch the scenes that I like. idk if it will be helpful to anyone,…
Thanks, this is what I like to read when researching a show. I also always write it. But from what you say they get together too late for my taste and then there is even a breakup, so I think Ill pass
Just finished it. Very good. Very funny, very lighthearted and sweet. It's totally a romcom where many comic unrealistic…
Romance recap: - They start as boss and secretary and soon after as very big enemies. - The enemies part is brilliant, and I say so when I usually dont like that trope. - While they hate eachother we see small glimpses of them caring for eachother too. - Because of circumstances they end up doing almost everything together, and slowly grow attached. - Something happens and she decides to stop being mean to him, but at the same time he discovers something and is meaner to her. Altho he probably already likes her here - He discovers the big reason for what she did and stops "hating" her and starts pursuing her. - At the end of episode 11 they get together - They are great with eatchother until the end with a very happy ending - The last episodes focus on resolving the intrigue plot, but without forgetting about the romance, very nicely done.
Just finished it. Very good. Very funny, very lighthearted and sweet. It's totally a romcom where many comic unrealistic things happen. It makes justice to the Crazy part of the title.
My only gripe is ML takes too long to stop being a jerk, so when she starts likeing him I couldnt really buy it. But soon after that they are great together.
Also, I usually dont like the enemies part of enemies to lovers shows. But this one is special. The way that part is set up is brilliant.
I just finished watching this like a month ago and I honestly can't even remember what it's about. I don't remember…
Maybe you just don't like light-hearted romances. Can't good actors act in light-hearted sweet romances? Many of us look exactly for this type of shows
Just finished it. Pretty good. FL character is pretty special for an asian show. Sassy indeed. She chases ML shamelessly…
Romance recap: - FL chases ML since episode 1. - ML tries to avoid her for a few episodes but soon starts likeing her - They flirt before that but you could say they are together since episode 6. - They are always great together until the end, except for 2 problems along the way - First is a small quarrel because something stupid IMO. This quarrel is short and not dramatic. - Second, while he is on a mission she is forced to get engaged with somebody from another country. She tries to avoid it but her father falls ill because of the ruckus and she gives in. When ML comes back in episode 15, she tries to act like she doesnt like him anymore, and he is mad and leaves. This one is more dramatic and lasts for 2 episodes. But its the only bad part between them in the entire show. - In episode 17 ML has a plan to get her out of the marriage and tells her and they make up (in secret for now) - In episode 19 they get officially engaged. - In episode 20 they marry and are happy until the end (romance related, other things happen)
No love triangles, except if you count the 2 "forced" engagements which werent ever love rivals. (she was "forcibly" engaged at the start too, but she didnt even consider that engagement a threat)
Just finished it. Pretty good. FL character is pretty special for an asian show. Sassy indeed. She chases ML shamelessly since episode 1. It is lighthearted, but there is always the fear that something will come between them so it still makes you hold your breath several times.
Dor anybody interested:- They realize who the other is around episode 11, but they act as if they still dont know.…
sML? I don't remember details, but he was a good guy that wanted her to be happy. When he first knew about ML he may not have supported him since he didn't know anything. But he was always a good guy and as soon as he realized ML was a nice guy, he supported both leads. I hate many love triangles, and this one want bad at all. Maybe a bit for a very short time
Just finished it. Mmh, it's good. The good things:- It's very sweet, since very early- All 3 pairs have good chemistry-…
- They start likeing eachother in episode 2. And form then on have very good chemistry and are always nice and sweet to eacthother. - A few episodes later ML admits he likes her and even tries to confess several times but always something happens. - Theres a short love triangle for about 2 episodes around episode 15. The guy she always liked (we never had a clue about this until now) returns from the US to pursue her. It could be a pretty bad love triangle, but the guy is very nice and as soon as he realizes ML likes her, he steps aside and gives them his blessing. - At 17 they get together and never break up.
Just finished it. Mmh, it's good. The good things: - It's very sweet, since very early - All 3 pairs have good chemistry - It's very lighthearted, nothing bad ever happens.
The bad: - We see they start likeing eachother since episode 2, and it still takes them a fraking TON of time to get together. It's not only bad because of the waiting, but also because it ends up being ridiculous how they arent together when they are acting like a couple for so many episodes. - She is DENSE, omg. Both are lovely to eachother, and we clearly see both like the other one, well we and everybody else. But even tho she clearly is in love, and so is he, she still doesnt admit to herself that she likes him, and doesnt believe he likes her, for such long time. Not making any sense because they do almost everything as a couple. - It is clearly a show made to be satisfying for women, much more than for men. It is always the guys who need to pursue the girls. They are the ones who need to confess and even convince the girls to be with them. Even when the girls wrong them in any way, they never have to apologize, its still the guys who need to convince them back. One ML literaly said (like 15 times) "From now on, every time we argue, no matter who is wrong, it will be me who apologizes". WTF of relationship is that. Another ML said this "from now on I will never object to what you want". Again, wtf. It's clearly written to please girls, but it was still very enjoyable for me. At least all FLs look very in love with their partners, unlike in some other shows where ML looks much more in love after they get together.
- ML acts as if he is bullying her, altho he is trying to protect her from something. She hates him for bullying her. Slowly the hate fades and they have some cute moments
