oh and by the way did she actually never said her feelings to him?? I'm low key shocked at the lack of her initiatives…
After watching the show I must say I didnt feel this the way you did. There are some romances where I hate when this happens. For example strong girl bong soon. There it really looks like only he is in love. In this one, sure, he takes the initiative, but she shows her love constantly. She loves when he does something for her. We see her looking at him all the time. When they separate after a date, or even talk on the phone, she screams in joy and blushes. So yes, he takes the initiative (comprensible since he is a celebrity) but she shows how she likes him all the time. In strong girl bong soon she barely even looks at him, she never seems happy about having done anything with him. She never misses him. When I read your comment before watching the show I thought it would be like that, but it's absolutly not the case
Just finished it. I dont get many of the comments here. I only watch happy stuff. I research a show before watching it to be sure it's happy. So I had this one on hold because some comments say its toxic, or even that there are lot of terrible missunderstandings. Well it's not true.
It is a very lighthearted show, and a pretty happy one. Yes, sML is toxic, but he is like a cartoon villain, he has bad intentions all the time but never manages to do anything bad to the leads.
There are no big tragedies in this show. The only missunderstandings are at the start, because they obviously set up the plot. But once they like eachother, which happens pretty soon (between episodes 8 and 11), there are no missunderstandings. They are lovely to eachother, they trust eachother.
So yeah, it's a pretty happy and lighthearted romcom.
(Im talking mostly about leads, sFL story is indeed pretty dramatic)
I just finished it and I agree with the general opinion. It's very good until a bout episode 8. Then... I mean it's not bad, but I found myself skipping sometimes. A lot of uninteresting stuff happens. Things reapeat too much. As soon as they solve something, another problem similar to the previous one has already started. This happens over and over. But it's not bad, just like I said, less interesting. No toxicity, missunderstandings, or such typical let downs.
The show is... enjoyable. But it could easily be much better. As somebody who likes lighthearted romances with few tragedies, this could perfectly fit what I like. Yet somehow the "enjoyable" parts arent quite there. Theres no big tragedy, but theres always some small thing bothering them that doesnt let you enjoy a few happy episodes. Worst thing in my opinion is that even in the episodes where they are together and there is still absoulty nothing wrong, she still feels hesitant. Even in the sweet, cute and fluffy moments, she always looks hesitant and doesnt let you enjoy it 100% Still, pretty lighthearted romance which I would recommend for people who like happy stuff without much else going on. Its ok, just not great.
Just finished it. Very good. It's like Sweet Home but more centered on the trouble between the survivors than about monsters. It has very little romance, but that little is very sweet. Lots of chemistry between leads, loved them both.
I can't argue with you about the second and third point you wrote because they are dependent on one's personal…
I see your example making him as evil as mine. If I hire an assassin to kill somebody, and he accepts the contract and the money, but it turns out somebody else had already hired him to kill the same guy.... Im still very responsible. Sure, if you remove me from the equation, same as with my bullet example, the other guy would still have died. But if you remove the third party from the equation, my bullet or kill contract, or removal of funds, would still have killed him/ruined him. Something else doing the same I was about to do a bit quicker doesnt make what I was going to do less evil
The most worthless and irrational story among all series in the world.the former fiancé was introduced as a monster,…
I liked the show, but I totally agree with your point. And same with sFL. His mother had all the blame on what happened. She suffered as much as he did. But even after realizing this, she was just.... less evil, but still evil. WTF...
I can't argue with you about the second and third point you wrote because they are dependent on one's personal…
If you shoot a gun and before the bullet hits ,another guys bullet hits him first and kills him, you have no blame? Dont get me wrong, I loved the show, but the worst part of it was MLs being a jerk for most part of the show. Not only with that crappy decision at the beginning, but also how he treated FL for about 12 episodes.
Okay one-time watch. It has a lot of decent kisses. Pain points:- How on earth is the main FL any less pretty…
- Ive seen already 3 or 4 kdramas where they take a beatiful actress and just say: "she is ugly and unpopular" xD - Yup, Ive seen quite a lot of kdramas where MLs are insipid and FLs awesome with lots of expressions and emotions. It makes me think koreans like insipid males.
Not a great drama. But i keep coming back to this one. Has annoying scenes and characters. But strangely I keep…
I honestly think the most annoying character was ML. Not at the end of course, but for far too many episodes. (I loved the show, just saying what I dont liked about it)
I never understood why the just oh hae young was called ugly in this drama. Surely she didn't stand out as a model,…
Easy. Because she sometimes puts glasses on! xD Seems every time a kdrama wants to make a pretty girl look ugly they put glasses on her sometimes. havent you seen Fated to Love you or The secret life of my secretary? They put glasses on both beautiful FLs and now they are supposed to be ugly
Just finished it. I liked it quite a lot. The only bad thing is that ML is a jerk for far too many episodes.
But it is still very good. Its a pretty happy and lighthearted show. FL is adorable. Theres quite a lot of episodes of them together to enjoy. There are a lot of good kisses. Side couples are pretty funny.
I enjoyed it a lot more than I would have thought.
Was it not a happy ending? I still have not finished it. Lol
Not sure if you already watched this. But now that I did, I would say the ending is more happy than the one of CLOY. It has some resemblance, but its pretty happy.
The idea is cool. The execution is good at the start. When she doesnt believe him, when she then realizes everything is true... that part is great.
Then theres some episodes where its ok, the romance is a bit weird, she goes from not likeing him to I love you so quickly. And then each time they see eachother they go from I almost died from not being able to see you, to just hugging shortly before each goes to do different things when they only have 2 days before not seeing eachother again for months.
The final 3 or 4 episodes are a complet mess. The script writers wanted to look cool with timejumps and its a total chaos. And I dont mean the jumps between different times, which are needed, I mean in the same timeline they put scenes that go after others in the wrong order for some reason, and it doesnt look cool, it looks like a mess. For example suddenly she is in a cellar with "another girl" tied, then she is in a hospital healing, then she is again in that cellar.... and there were no magic time changes there, they just took regular scenes which happen in a normal order and shuffeled them on purpose putting fragments of scenes before others and make a chaos.

The last half episode is cool again.
