I just saw Coffee Prince for the first time and wow, that acting deserved an Oscar. What an amazing mix of traits her character had and she nailed them all. I havent seen her in any other drama tho
Amazing. Beautiful, funny and sweet. I have watched about 20 romances in the past months, and this is one of my favourites if not the best. And Ive watched it in 2021 for the first time.
As you see in my comment above, I loved the show. Still, I need to say I was quite disappointed with the short ending. After this amazing journey, after all that constant sweetnes, after all that longing to be together, the best you can do after 2 years apart is a hug in the interview, a conversation in the car where she refuses to talk about marriage, and a scene where he pours her a coffe. And the show ends.
Really? The last episode was 20 minutes of her preparing to leave, 30 minutes of her away and when you cant wait for her return, we just get 10 minutes, and they dont even kiss, after 2 years... It was very unexpected after how sweet this show was.
For anybody who hasnt watched the show and is reading this, dont let this comment discourage you. If you like happy endings, you could say this show has 6 episodes of happy ending. Episode 12 is amazing and from then on everything is a happy ending. Its just the final touch that was unexpectedly short and not sweet.
10 out of 20 episodes watched and I'm going to drop it; I've given it a fair chance. The newspaper office feels…
I haven't watched pinocchio, I'm still deciding if I should. But what you describe is common in many kdrama romances. It's even obvious, since most of them are over 16 hour long, they need things to slow the romance down. And those hurdles are often stupid misunderstandings, stupid sacrifices for the good of the other, stupid Love triangles, or stupid child behaviour where they need 3 dates to hold hands. :P
Has already been answered, but as somebody who hates love triangles even when it's one sided love, I will add…
Yeah go ahead. The romance part in this show is very light-hearted. They may face dangers regarding the criminal/law part of the story, but the love story doesn't have the typical tragedies or even hurdles. One time it seems ike it, but they soon talk about it and clear it.
Mmh, it's good. But the start is much better than the rest. I enjoyed the first 5-6 episodes A LOT. But then it went a bit downhill. The chemistry between the leads was much better at the start than when they were dating. Usually in romances I love the part when they finally are dating. Here.... it just didnt click. Their wanting to be together chemistry was much better than their dating chemistry.
If you like happy stuff, stay away from this. The cool 10 first episodes and the ending dont make up for the terrible middle of the show. I haven't seen such terrible tragedies in a romcom before.
Ive never felt so betrayed by the comments and reviews of a show. I only like mainly happy stuff, and I do a lot of research before watching a show. This one is described as a such lighthearted and happy show. And it is 100% like that for 10 episodes. So what the frak is this fraking tragedy + girl going with the sML + 3 fraking year timeskip after episode 10. Yes Ive read the 2 last episodes are a happy ending. And ofc you can have a few hurdles before that. But this combo of tragerdies + terrible things happening is too fraking much. Im so dissapointed nobody mentions this in the comments. If you like happy stuff, SKIP THIS. Im so annoyed at this show, no happy ending can fix this terrible episodes. Usually I hate missunderstandings, but at least missunderstandings lead to nice make ups. But this is no missunderstanding, ML is just a moron
On some comments I read its sweet and beautiful, on others I read leads fight and separate all the time like children. Can somebody please spoil on what episode they get together? I dont want another 14 episode of bad feelings to have 1 or 2 happy episodes.
Has already been answered, but as somebody who hates love triangles even when it's one sided love, I will add that indeed the triangle doesnt matter in this one. At the start of it you may think "oh no".... but it passes quickly. FL never even realizes sML likes her, in the entire show. And sML very very quickly, as soon as he realizes the other two like eachother, doesnt do a single thing to go inbetween. He actually helps them all the time. Yes, he likes her, but he loves both of them and just wants them to be happy.
Great show For all you romance seekers, this one is a bit special. The romance part is very lighthearted. Which means, it doesn't have the typical bad things that set the couple apart, but also it doesnt focus on them dating. Dont get me wrong, theres a lot of scenes of them being awesome together, and loving eachother, being sweet, and so on. Just not the same style as more romance focused shows, it doesnt show how they date or things like that. They follow the main plot of the show together, help eachother, comfort eachother, and love eachother. Just saying this because lately every romance Ive seen was mainly about the 2 leads dating, and this one was different. I liked that there was no complications between them. But it also lacked some "oh yeah" moments other romances have.
Pretty good. But the chemistry they had at the start-middle of the show, is lost later in my opinion. More details about it on my other comment under spoiler tag.
Wow, where the hell did their chemistry go after episode 10... I cant even...Before that epiosode their chemistry…
It gets a bit better later, she even prepares a surprise for him, but the chemistry is still never the same as in the start. I think it's because of 2 reasons. One, like I said above, the difference in the love he shows for her vs what she shows is too big to call it good chemistry. he just wants to be with her all the time. She likes him, sure, but they dont show anymore how she misses him or anything. She does her daily routine and its him all the time trying to be together, The second reason is because they almost dont show them dating. They are almost always with other people, and we barely see them eating cake once for 15 seconds and then the last scene at the movie. But they dont manage to give us the feeling that they are dating.
I havent seen her in any other drama tho

Well, only skipped parts of the law scenes
