No. "I Hear Your Voice" is his best. And though he does not really stretch himself in it, I also like "Romance…
Man, tastes are truly subjective. Ive only watched Romance Is A Bonus Book from this actor (just started while you were sleeping), and while I liked the drama a lot, I hated ML. I think he was terrible and the worst part of the show. He looked like an awkard barbie figurine in Romance Is A Bonus Book for my taste. It actually took me long to start while you were sleeping bc it was the same ML. Lets see how he is in this one
Why the fuck some of you lot ask stupid questions like that? Just watch and experience it yourself.. Or just fuck…
Whats wrong with this guy. I do that question and many more before even starting a drama. My time is limited, and there are hundreds of kdramas. Why wouldnt I watch the ones I will like more instead of wasting time with stuff I wont enjoy?
So many dramas would've been much better if they were shorter... Sigh
I havent even watched this one, but I have to agree with this comment. Not sure what part of the ramas you would cut, but since I like happy stuff, I woudnt cut the end, when it finally goes well again. I will cut frim the middle episodes, when the typicall tragedy drags on on so many dramas.
Wow, where the hell did their chemistry go after episode 10... I cant even... Before that epiosode their chemistry was amazing. But then the typical tragedy+break up happen, and not only during that break up, but also after it gets fixed, you cant just feel FLs chemistry anymore.
Before that, they both were sweet and clearly mad for eachother, but after that point, it seems only he really cares, and she just lets it happen.
During the breakup, she already starts to be annoying. It really seems like she doesnt care much. But well, ok, typicall kdrama break up.
But what the hell was wrong with that reconciliation?? He manages to find what she most wanted in the world, he fixes the only "problem" that made them break up (was a ridiculos problem to begin with), and makes an amazing performance for her reunion with her brother. So after all that, after beeing both so mad in love to eachother, after a break up that she made for a pretty ridiculos reason, after saying to him she hates him (lying) and more terrible stuff and making him feel terrible, after him completly fixing the problem and prepare a beatuful reunion... they hug (because he opened his arms for her). Thats it. They dont talk, she doesnt say sorry. She goes to sleep, next day she goes to work, he goes there to see her, and she is suprised, like "what are you doing here?"... Days pass, if they do something together its because he almost drags her. They arent even alone after such a break up reconciliation... And then after several days, he tries to kiss her... and she evades the kiss...
Really, wtf happened with their chemistry. Both were lovely and now he seems like a total pushover for her and she seems to not care except by just going along.I have seen many annoying breakups in kdramas, but usually the reconciliation parts are awesome. In this one the reconciliation sucks and the chemistry is totally gone...
Finally a ML who's neither jealous nor selfish. Great chemistry between the 2 leads.Light story but great acting.
Also an ML with emotions on his face. There are so many kdramas where ML just has a fixed face. I guess it's attractive for korean women, because there soooo many.
Is there any other kind of drama with similar vibes to this drama? That kind of happy, sweet, fluffy, no annoying…
I think this show had more dramatic episodes than many otehrs I watched. Very fun beginning and happy ending. but the middle episodes were so dramatic IMO. Try Oh my Venus. I think its one of the most lighthearted dramas, and very fun and beatiful. It only has 1 dramatic episode, and it is about an accident, so nobody doing any crap to somebody else. And it gets resolved beautifully.
I love this one; everything runs so smooth, and the ending is good. I do wish they had made at least one more…
Instead of more episodes, I think they needed to cut the dramatic episodes sooner. It takes so damn long until they are together. And unlike hte start where everything is funny, theres so much drama in the middle. I would have done that shorter and make a longer happy ending
Just finished it. It's good, but I didnt enjoy it as much as I could have. I liked the start and the ending. But there are too many dramatic episodes in the middle. Cutting about 3 episodes of drama or changing them into something else would make this a 9 for me.
Yes they end up together and there is no Love triangle in the drama.
For me that-s totally a love triangle. There are several levels of love triangle annoyance, and this one isnt even the lowest. Terrible: FL loves both Bad: FL loves ML but still feels something for the other Annoying: FL doesnt love the secondary one, but he still keeps insisting along a lot of episodes. Doesnt matter: Theres another guy interested in her, but he never tries anything.
All those are different levels, but they are love triangles. At least for me, ofc each can think what they want. The love triangle in this case is special, because she is "forced". But she is forced because of fate, not because a person is forcing her. And loving somebody because fate... kind of counts as loving him. Even tho that fate was put there on purpose by a god. I would put this one in the Bad category. It also lasts a crapo ton of episodes and takes a lot of screentime
I didn't like it. The FL was amazing and lovely, and that's why I still gave it a 7.5. But I just couldnt enjoy the show. Im not saying it is bad, just that it is not of my likeing.
I like happy stuff, and the first episode looked like this would be a pretty happy show. But then tragedy after tragedy after tragedy. Other shows with even bigger tragedies at least have a couple episodes where something gets fixed and you can enjoy the happy "aftermath". But that wasnt the case here. Sure, things got fixed and we saw a few happy moments here and there, but just specific short moments. There wasnt half an episode were you could just enjoy the romance for a while without something terrible happening. Again, not saying it's bad, but I couldnt enjoy it.
Loved FL tho. I had seen her only as support character in other 3 dramas. Im happy she was the lead here and think she did amazing.
I cried for 90% of the last episode even though I assumed it would end happily eventually.
Well, I knew it was a happy ending. I only start dramas after making sure of it. So even at the sad part I knew it was going to be fixed. Maybe somebody who doesnt know it has a happy ending will enjoy last episode less :P
That's good to know because I absolutely loved Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha. If this one is even better then I can't wait…
No way. Im not finished yet with this show. But in hometown cha cha cha its totally clear why they like eachother and get together. Here.... i mean, Im happy when they do, this is why I watch romances. But in real life with such behaviour they would have never gotten together. Episodes 2-5 would have make FL hate ML forever in real life.
So, here I come.Episodes 1 and 2 were treats. I mean, even dealing with the horrible "Kdrama white actor issue"…
Im exactly at that part. Yes, it feels a bit like you say. But IMO he is forcing himself to act like that because he needs her to pay back. He just met her, and ofc he likes her, but its still recent. So he tries to force himself to act tough. But even himself isnt likeing it.
Just finished. The first half was regular. But the second half was awesome and totally made up for it. It's funny, sweet, and a lot of cool things happen. And very lighthearted of course. Oh, and I think I havent seen a drama with more kisses, stares, caresses and so on than this one.
I missed 2 things: - Her beeing happy aboout her beeing Shi Ahns Sister in law (seriously, I dont get how she doesnt even mention it) - Shi Ahn realizing she is The road to Shi Ahn
Very good. Super lighthearted, funny and beautiful. The typical bad things that happen in korean romances dont…
Sure there is 1 bad thing that happens. But unlike most other korean romances its not something bad between them. Its just an accident that happens to them and they beautifully overcome. And just one episode. But those typicall things that happen in other dramas: beak ups, i will do this stupid thing to "protect you", family of one not likeing the other, problems between them, love triangles, and so on, never happen here. Its just a happy show.
