I complain in many shows about them being too centered on pleasing girls. This one is not it. Feminism, radical feminism at that, is a main topic of the show, but it is not defenidng it. 1. The show starts with FL hating ML because of a missunderstanding. That's the premise. Doesnt make sense to hate FL because of it when it is the main topic of the show 2. She beat him, in a very comical tone, asked by him, and 2 minutes later he beat her. 3. The mistake she made about their separation, is exactly why this show is not a girls guilty pleasure fest like most asian dramas. It is ALWAYS ML who does that and then has to apologize. This argument is exactly the opposite of what you say. 4. Im not sure if you are the source of the wrong information I read in these comments before watching it. "not wanting to get married or having children ". That's absolutly untrue and/or taken out of context. She does not say she doesnt want children. That's false. And the marriage thing is taken out of context. You make it sound as if she didnt want to marry him because she is unsure, or wants to wait to see if they are serious, or something like that. THat's not true. She said, she doesnt want to marry because she doesnt like korean marriage culture. Not marrying because she isnt sure yet, it is too soon, or something like that would indeed sound unromantic. But that's not it. She just doesnt want to marry. That's totally fine. She clearly loves him compeltly, he is the one, she clearly shows it. Marrying is just a procedure you can or can not do, and many couples prefer not to marry, has nothing to do with the amount of love. Just finished it. It is a very enjoyable short show. It is very fun and lighthearted. Yes, something happens in the last episode, but I usually hate that stuff and it didnt bother me in this show. Maybe because of the comical tone, maybe because since it's so short everything happens quite fast. But I would totally categorize it as very lighthearted.
About people saying FL was annoying/bossy/treated ML wrong.... I totally disagree. And let me tell you, Im a guy who hates how many asian dramas try to please girls guilty pleasure. This is such a re watch type drama I have watched it over 3 times now.
I was about to start it, but then scrolling down I read quite some bad comments about it. About how FL is absolutly not right towards ML, that they use the last episode to create trouble (come on, in the last episode...) and even something about a breakup.
