struggled to capture me
I don’t know if this is all down to a translation issue with Viki, but I really struggled with the storylines here. most of the time I didn’t have a clear idea about what was going on or what was motivating the characters. The romance subplot was sweet, and the casting was A++; Nana is wonderful and could watch her all day but the glue that holds everything together is lacking.
One other frustrating part was just watching Goo Se-ra getting crapped on by everyone else on the council and nothing really happening to them. she just took it and nothing really happened, karma wise.
I wish I enjoyed it more, but in the end I just finished it to finish it and mark it as complete on MDL.
