I agree for the most part with second leads. The only exception for me, personally, is in a drama where I felt…
The Heirs Second Lead - Choi Young Do (Kim Woo Bin) - Took bullying to a whole new level that bordered on sadistic. Male Lead - Kim Tan (Lee Min-Ho) fully reformed bully, willing to take on the world and sacrifice everything to be with the female lead character. Yet, I will always root for the second lead Choi Young Do to get the girl.
Crush anybody who hurt her, how ? Her endorsements are gone, he divorced her not the other way around (if she's…
Agreed. And there should be a reasonable expectation of privacy in family and marital relationships.
This man did nothing illegal. Her actions are a breach of his privacy and the deliberate defamation of his character. The law should protect this individual, his family, coworkers and sponsors from her actions.
Marriage and family relationships can be stressful. Emotions run high and when a person is exhausted, angry and feeling overwhelmed they can say and do hurtful and petty things, but that does not define who they are outside of that moment.
None of us would want to be judged by the hurtful things we said or did during moments of anger or desperation in our most personal and private relationships.
Ha Rip and Kelly have such a unique history and relationship, that I was oddly disappointed when he was startled and ended what looked like what might have been a loving moment. Hopefully, he wasn't just thinking of his son's mother again.
I feel the law should be able to protect this man in this situation. This woman put very private conversations, situations, etc out in public. This should have been handled between the couple and their lawyers.
Acting -10 Jasper Lee and Puff Kuo created a couple with believable feelings and intense chemistry. Even in the most unrealistic and annoying situations, I found myself caring about them and rooting for them.
Story - 5 Poorly written story riddled with random unrealistic uninteresting situations, and out-of-character behavior with no logical cause or purpose. (the company party, the balcony, the "deal"etc.) The actors saved this drama.
Rewatch - 8.5 (with heavy use of FF) because, despite its many and frustrating flaws, BWGM managed to be entertaining with some genuinely heartwarming, passionate, and funny moments.
Wow! This series had me completely engaged from beginning to end, and beyond the closing theme song to the final scene! Fantastic Drama. Highly recommend!
Almost all of the finale was so unnecessary and uninteresting... The continued ex conflict was lame enough, but…
They end up together, but she needs time to be on her own to grow and like herself. They live separate lives for 13 months, then see each other again at the friends wedding, where they make plans to have coffee. So it's a happy ending but the episode was a disappointment for me considering how much time was already spent on the exes, her conflicted feelings, her growth etc. Not to mention there would be no need for separation, WeiWei was not an impulsive girl controlled by emotions and hormones, she was a smart adult woman capable of growth while maintaining a friendship with a man.

I could understand a bit of time and space before having a serious relationship, but 13 months completely out of her life, with no interaction as friends? Ke Huan proved that he would respect her boundaries as friends, so she is not under any pressure.
I really can't with the last epmost of it was so unnecessary .... but well they did finally sleep together so…
Almost all of the finale was so unnecessary and uninteresting... The continued ex conflict was lame enough, but the separation took away from the intense love and friendship they had for each other which was the best part of the entire drama. Wei Wei was supposed to be an intelligent adult woman, yet she couldn't possibly stay in contact with her male friend/ lover Kehuan, and focus on growing as a person ? The actors were amazing, the story was not.
Fantastic actress. She is able to play so many different characters. She was great in Parasite and I liked how naturally she played her role in Beautiful Mind.
from ep 6 she seemed to be scared from the old man lee choong ryeo right? I think she met him in the past
Yes! Scared or at least distrusting. She barely met his eyes or grasped his hand when they met. I wonder what she knows that is making her react that way...
Thank you for the link to this fun article from your "Great Mother's in Laws in Dramas" article. I missed it the first time around! - Cha Shi Ha in Legend's of the Blue Sea is lovably self-involved, shallow, desperate and shameless making her character continuously entertaining and fun. - Do Yeo Jo in Sweet Stranger and Me is also shamelessly yet comically and loveably self-involved and shallow. While it would be difficult to truly sympathize with either of them, they balanced the requisite annoying intrusion of the SL female with lots of humorous moments!
I loved the ML's mother in KIng Two Hearts! Some of my other favorites include - ML mother in Legend of the Blue Sea -Ml and FL mothers in One Spring Night - ML mother in Lucky Romance - FL mother and ML grandmother (as a substitute mother in law) in Fated to Love You _ ML mother in Mariage Not Dating - ML and FL mothers in The Heirs -FL and Ml mothers in Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu - FL mother in 5 Ji Kara 9 Ji Made ( Five to Nine) - FL mother in Go Back Couple
I can't wait for ep. seven! So far this has been a quietly entertaining story with wonderful actors, unique characters, a bit of mystery, a bit of humor, and some lovely music. Now that their memories and emotions are coming to the surface, hopefully, there will be some more insight into their past.
