I loved JKH's performance in Cruel City, but I agree nothing compares to his performance in Life On Mars. I could never get into the US LOM. I loved the original BBC Life on Mars and the soundtrack is timeless. But the Korean Life on Mars was outstanding and by far the best of all the remakes. It will always be one of my top favorite dramas as well.
I love both AIB and SH equally, but that is probably because I love Kdramas and Jdramas equally. Each drama had its own unique atmosphere and characters, but both were equally compelling, fast, and fun to watch. And I cannot wait till the next season of both dramas! Great article BTW!

Thank you for this article! Sweet Home was not a priority for me. It was on my ptw mainly because I was waiting to see Lee Shi Young in a role like this since she was so incredible in The Guardians. But the series was so much more than I expected and I ended up binging the entire season!
I watched this film raw and still found myself moved and on the edge of my seat by the depth of the performances of Yoshi, Suda Masaki, and Nakano Taiga.
Yoshi is a very young actor. This is his first film and his very raw and unique portrayal of Taro is haunting.

This young actor gave a uniquely raw and disturbing performance as the character Taro in "In Taro the Fool". It will be interesting to see how he grows as an actor.
I loved this drama. But I am most impressed and moved by the performances of the actors Ishibashi Shuzuka (Riho) and Nakano Taiga (Makoto). Both were outstanding and I have added their other works to my ptw lists.
This is a crazy fun comedy and I always looked forward to the next episode despite the flaws. I also have to add that the actors nailed their characters and stayed true to the quirky manga atmosphere of the series.
