I am a big fan of slice-of-life and countryside setting, so this show is just right up my alley with some interesting characters. The first two episodes were all expositions, but this week's episode were all about rising action went by fast as the leads were pretty outspoken with their feelings.
Oh wow. Episode 8 is the best episode yet. Just when I thought the trajectory of the events couldn't have been more perfect, the writer ends it with a party, complete with an unexpected guest. I am so ready for episode 9 -- I can't wait to see how this party unfolds!!!
P.S. Am I the only one holding my breath thinking that the party crasher would be the male lead? But alas! The writer proved that he/she has better plans for the climax, and I am more than happy to be wrong and put my faith on the writer lol.
they've shown me one of the most genuine and raw depictions of love that i've seen in a drama. i find that all…
I agree. The leads are very unpretentious and just show how much they deeply love and care for each other. I highly recommend Battle of Changsha for good relationship depictions.
Totally agree with your comment. Speed and Love clearly relied on He Yu’s sex appeal (and I admit I mainly watched…
I finally found one of the few who thought that Jiang Mu was childish! I mentioned in another forum before that she was acting like a 12 y.o. with the voice and lolita outfits lol. I couldn't help but think 2fl would've been a much better match. Her character is more interesting since her trajectory could be about becoming independent from her dad and joining Zhao Zhao in exposing the dad's crimes. -- almost Romeo and Juliet-esque. That would've been more in-line with the badass first part of the story.
I waanted to start this drama but I am not able to ignore the fact that the FL was 16 years old
I did start it, but I grew up watching her as a child actress. I just couldn't get that out of my head too, so I stopped watching it. Didn't help that the character always needed rescuing.
