Btw, I agree with the person who recommended River's Edge. The first episode was suprising and made me uncomfortable with the first scene and confused but I kept watching 'cause it was just so unique. It's definitely not just a regular detective drama as the tone and cinematography is different. Very noir and artistic. Plus, I got to know the amazing Odagiri Joe. His performance here is just so charismatic and raw.

Late reply but I highly recommend Dele if you haven't tried it. Haven't seen anything like it and the 2 male leads deliver. Also, N no Tame Ni. I got addicted to it that I finished it in 2-3 days. Btw, this is the drama where Kento Kaku met his wife, Eikura Nana haha.

If you haven't given this series a chance, I say now is the perfect time to start watching this as the show picked up its pace this week and gave its viewers a sense of familiarity with the characters. I gave it a 10/10 rating even though it hasn't finished yet because the friendship and slice of life plot is just what I need right now in this situation that we're currently in (self-isolation/quarantine) and exactly what I have been looking for in a long time after watching shows like Someday or One Day and Reply 1988 to name a few of my favorites. This review is coming from a person who watched over 500 Asian TV series and is very picky so I say trust me on this one if you're a viewer who prefers plot and character-driven shows.

This is a no no for me. Waste of a good cast though. The plot doesn't make sense nor do the characters' actions so don't waste your time. I struggled in finishing this.

I'm all for a good plot so I don't mind heavy. I should really watch it now since more are recommending it.

I'll try The World Between Us. I watched the other 2 before and they're my top Tdramas so I feel like we have similar taste. Btw, I'm watching Skate Into Love and I'm liking it. It's kinda unique because the girl bullied the boy during their childhood and now the boy's taking revenge during college so loads of fun ?

I'm having withdrawal symptoms 'cause this is just that great of a series. Help me! Any recommendations? Staying at home and the loooong days of no work because of the virus is making desperate to watch any good shows right now.

Btw, this is coming from a huge fan of Signal, the writer of this drama's previous work. I had big expectations and got really disappointed.

If you value plot and character development, I say don't. This is a blockbuster type of drama and is just mostly action like a feast for the eye type of show with all that big budget production. It'a like a fancy dish that has killer visuals but when you taste it, it's really nothing special.

I highly recommend Signal! His best drama yet.

I agree, it's definitely not like some of the dramas that don't explain how time travel works (*ehem* Melting Me Softly). If you have any recommendations in this genre, let me know! I watched Go Back Couple too and I like that one.

I'm a fan of Nine: Nine Times Travel, Signal, and Tunnel to name a few and if you watched any of those Kdramas, then you'll know that I'm really into time travelling shows -- well, the ones with great character stories and developments at least. So this is my first time watching a time travel genre that is a Tdrama and it didn't disappoint at all. Whoever did a review saying this is the best Tdrama this year or even of all Asian dramas this year yet, is not exaggerating. It's quite confusing at first, and the concept might sound funny and ridiculous once you get to know the main twist, but because of the great characters and the later events, it will probably suck you into its world. Overall, this drama is definitely a unique series that would make you ponder and nostalgic.

Just randomly joining in lol. But I highly encourage you to watch Search:WWW of you haven't. A female-centric Korean drama (3 female leads not the usual ml and fl) and the girls are the complete opposite of this drama's fl.
