if they stay true to the original series she doesn't die. in the original series she takes the pentobarbital bc she thinks it's just something to calm her nerves before the performance and the fact that it was watered down probably saves her.

they already adjusted stuff from the original series (the kids were mary's and she was divorced but here she's their aunt etc) so idk if they'll keep this but in the original series that character also has bipolar disorder

i really dont understand why the "white power" comment and subsequent discourse was necessary, and you've hounded venus with multiple comments. contextually with the sentence the emoji use made perfect sense (and mind you the "proper" "this close" emoji is fairly new and may not be available to all users OR they have a habit of using the aok one as it did use to be used in this context as well which is why developers later added the more specific emoji in the first place). i dont understand if maybe you have in issue reading textual tone without indicators but nothing in that comment referenced 1) the drama being good 2) white supremacy while also 3) specifically using the line "this close" right next to the emoji. maybe work on your internet literacy instead of harrassing people needlessly. you were the only one confused out of hundreds of commenters, so the problem is you.

i see it the way i'd watch marvel movies and some people have superpowers, in the universe of the witch some people are "cursed" until they find their true love, like a fairytale. it's not necessary for it to have a reason. if anything, curse was how the world chose to describe this condition

bc y'all are looking at it wrong. there's no higher power cursing someone lmao it's just a condition of the universe. there are more people with this than just FL and 2ML. some people in the show's universe have this condition, just like some in another show have powers or some in another show are demons who exist among mortals or how in another show you get the grim reaper.

just like you'll watch moving and some people will have powers, and you'll watch light shop and people with an NDE go to limbo, in this show people exist who have the curse. that's just a condition in the universe. i think this is a fairytale, and once the witches found their true love (someone they love, who loves them, and metaphorically won't leave their side) the curse is lifted

i think she was just scared for so long of any feelings that it's been a long time since she let herself love. the way i read it, when he jumps in the river and she finally recognized him, we get her POV where we see that she was aware of him since HS and i got the impression that she did like him, but at that point she was too scared and the town forced her out. she kept hoping for a happy ending, or for the curse to maybe not follow her. but it did. so she then became a recluse, worked from home, didn't even shop for groceries. he wants her to finally live a life. i know people call him a stalker, but he was creating his hypothesis and figuring out the variables, and how else would one do that? his motivation however was to have her lead a normal life.

i think the ending both with ML and FML is that they'd rather confess their true feelings and die than live a life without that love. because to them, that's the point of life. to love another person. and so ML hopes FML will love him back, follow him, and he'll at least get to have that peace of having known that even if it meant death - he'd die happy. then FL brings the last complete variable - they have to stick together. and they do. i think this is mirrored with 2ML & 2FL - he has to not only realize his feelings and admit to them, but then also be willing to step away from any fear and jump forward into a life with someone he loves.

i think this story, this curse, is just a fairytale. and like in all fairytales it's broken by a true love('s kiss). they found their true loves - people they love and who love them and have decided to spend the rest of their lives together - so they get the happily ever after.

i think it's like any fairytale curse - you need to find your true love! and if you do and truly love them and stick by their side to have a happily ever after, the curse is lifted.

no worries i probably wouldn't have noticed tbh had i not remembered the synopsis and caught him say he's 15 and my brain did the math... which resulted in my comment as i'm just shocked he's playing almost 10yrs older... i genuinely can't remember seeing someone do that

i think you got confused somewhere? according to the synopsis it's 16yrs between present day and flashback when he's 15, so his character is 31. irl he's 23 and he has a babyface for a highschooler -IN MY OPINION-
