driving people to suicide isn't a culture. also we get to point out when something is ridiculous - and harassing this man over weed meanwhile it's crickets over sexual and physical abuse which many others in the cast are guilty of is absolutely ridiculous. everyone and everything is open to critique

if one knows if they show their face in public the media will harass them so they decide to not attend, is it truly a choice? either way, i didn't comment on this choice specifically, but on the fact that out of multiple abusers in the cast the director was ONLY asked about him and had to defend him bc he smoked some weed. my point stands

yup i really enjoyed how although it was marriage propaganda they did so through the lens of being fit for marriage, and how you need to treat others... i'm sad they didn't expand more on her backstory of being a matchmaker! it got dark but was a very interesting take. i really wish they continued with more episodic couples as well. they really delivered nice messages! even though i didn't love how they handled the incel storyline, i was pleasantly surprised that they even tried to tackle it seeing skr's views on feminism

it's really unfortunate but i get it's a business... a shame stories have to suffer though.

personally i think this was mapped out to be a regular 16ep drama and then they had to cut it for budget reasons, bc the pacing was lovely for the first half of the show. then everything started to kind of shift, it lost focus and cramped a lot of things in the last episodes, making it rushed. i really enjoyed the leads, and found them to be very cute and refreshing so it made the show for me and i did love it. aside from being obvious marriage propaganda, i do think it had some objectively good messages about relationships and marriage and i found some bits very realistic. i did love that we saw a couple that became friends first then developed feelings, and that it was more focused on them individually i guess? i think this is a hidden gem that probably would have benefitted more had it been on a higher budget platform

why are you leading a completely separate conversation? and this wasn't dating or private life, this was DRUNK DRIVING that caused an ACCIDENT. like yes you can say she repented but you can't say that it's NOT A BIG DEAL. that was my main point. you know millions die bc of drunk driving every year right? i hope you don't find it as trivial as these comments (that you, tana and bliss write) keep implying. it's possible to both root for her, not condone harassment AND openly say this was a SERIOUS mistake that people get to hold against her in a respectable way.

you now turned this into a completely different conversation... my point was just to say the situation wasn't as trivial as you presented it and you can't just put it together with dating rumors or people being trolls online. she did something illegal and could have harmed a lot of people. whether or not people want to financially support someone after that is their choice. i never condoned harassment or whatever you keep implying, i'm just saying you portrayed her situation like it was nothing, something trivial, which you and other commenters really minimized it into. i wanted to add context and point out it was quite serious and if she weren't so lucky someone could have died.

i'm glad she apparently realised her error, made amends and is returning to work however i was just pointing out that this isn't something silly to be brushed aside bc your comment was really reckless.

dating someone and drunk driving + causing an accident aren't on the same level at all... drunk driving takes lives so yes it should take away a career. esp in a country like skr where you can always get a cab or a driver very easily, also excellent public transport. drunk driving is a moral failing 100% and one gets judged for it.

and where did i say they shouldn't? i just said it was a lot more serious than people here painted it to be. she's obviously making a comeback and if the movie goes well she'll be fine. she's only 24 and has her whole life ahead of her. but people have a right to hold this against her as someone could have died and many were inadvertently harmed. i just wanted to emphasize this because it's not like other smaller issues knetz go insane over like having a gf, weight, not smiling enough, etc. it was very serious.

look up the details of the event. she didn't just speed or was randomly caught. she literally caused an accident and made part of the neighbourhood lose electricity for almost four hours. she caused many people to lose on sales, and a lot of people in the neighbourhood sued her for damages. she seriously messed up and had to pay numerous fines and also pay for damages for ALL those people.
