while I cannot get behind the mains relationship it is quite watchable (if like me you came for the palace/harem scheming) till ep30 then they throw about four arcs in the span of the last 6 eps (needless to say neither of these arcs is properly developed).

don't get me started on the ending, they randomly stand in a street? why? the big finale should have been the wangfei appointment ceremony imo.

my main criticism (aside from the ML whom I don't like one bit) is that the villains just keep getting away with s*it like so many chracters could have been saved if the villains were properly punished the first time around, it's not even funny.

curiosty finally killed the cat and I have finished this god-forsaken drama (mainly bc I was starved for palace/harem dramas)

I also want to know, I feel like First would really suit the MC in The Love Never Sets

I mean ABO dynamics are inherently dubcon (at minimum) so really what did you expect?
