This is why I want dram more when the Male is in focus.. Too many drama about FL in focus.
LOL. I think in the past, the Male hero storylines were overused on screen, now they are exploring the female hero side more on screen. Now it is getting saturated. I think it'll return to a more balance female/male hero storyline in the future.

I've watched up to episode 36 and I disagree. Yes, the first few episodes are mainly about Jun Jiuling, but later…
I've only watched to episode 6, so that is my opinion since then. I'm glad they improved his role then. He deserves more depth in his characters, even if it's a villain role.

No problem with PXR's character. My point was Jin Han's character, and a waste of his talent being in this kind of role.

Jin Han needs roles like Twisted Fate of Love, where he takes control of the screen and plays a strong role in the storyline. This drama is more about Peng Xiao Ran's character, so Jin Han seems to be overshadow. I've only watched a couple episodes and feels his role is a waste of his talent. Hopefully it gets better. Love Peng Xiao Ran. She's one of the most attractive Chinese actress and her acting is top notch! :D

I wasn't going to watch this version because of Yukee Chen, but I gotta say, she did a good job playing Zhao Min. After this drama, I find her to be a very good actress, even though she's not that good-looking, I liked her. Will look forward to her other dramas. So far, the main actors fit their characters well.

Ok, I thought I would skip this drama, cause Jin Han did not look attractive. Was I wrong. He is attractive! Ok, he's not handsome, but very charming, confident and likable! He reminds me of Mark Chao, who is not handsome, but attractive overall thru the way they carry themselves. Will definitely follow the drama. :) Sun Yi is always beautiful. Nice to see her in an ancient drama.

Why a sad ending? I don't get dramas these days. It seems like they think they can move audience's emotions more with a sad ending. But in terms of rewatching it, nope. So far I'm liking how they develop the relationship in the drama. I'm on ep. 6 only. Li Qin is so pretty in here (I didn't like her in Joy of Life). And Darren Wang looks hot as the wolf, but wish they made him look fiercer as Lord Wolf. One plus is they finally gave Darren Wang a tan to fit the role!!!! Glad he doesn't look like a white, blood-drained vampire like other ML.

Lee Dong Wuk is a very handsome man, but he looks like a very pale, colorless vampire. :( Do these actors get red meat in their diet or are they just obsessed with being white, or is that his role: a vampire??? I liked him better with a tanner color like in the My Girl era.
